This is how big is inn room in Skywatch:
CO08m2z.jpg
You can place 100 furnishing items inside it.
LSByb3W.jpg

But...

This is how big is inn room in Vivec:
sqv5vUz.jpg
Where you can place only 30 funishing items, even if there's more space than in Skywatch room!
E5Swp5x.jpg

What kind of logic is behind this? I'd really love to furnish Saint Delyn Penthouse, but with 30 items limit it's impossible for me.
Can you please update inn rooms capacity, so ALL of them can have 100 items cap? @ZOS_GinaBruno

The housing limit is heavily related to the price of the home, rather than the size. The 30s are freebie locations you get from the quest. The paid in rooms are 100. Not sure about the intervening, but the largest homes are 700 slots.

Actually the room in Skywatch is an APARTMENT, not an INN room.
    Hence the difference between them.

To make a fair comparison check the inn room in Vulkhel Guard.

As is the case with most things regarding Homestead, everything follows a formula, not logic, or - god forbid - common sense.

Mate, you have to think of how difficult it would be for your removal company to get more than 30 items of furniture to Morrowind. You've got shipping costs, you've got labour, you've got that wooden scaffold bridge to get over, stairs, winding corridors. I just don't think you've thought this through.....

The room in Vivec needs more slots. I'd be happy with something like 25/50. 15/30 is just way too little for its size.

Agree. I love especially the ceiling. I've tried to decorate this room with 30 items but it was so damn empty...

I was incredibly disappointed to find that there were no larger houses in this same style with Morrowind.

The inn rooms in Vivec, Davon's Watch, Vulkhel Guard, and Daggerfall are all FREE rooms give to you at the completion of the tutorial for housing on a character of that alliance. They aren't meant to be your home, just a starter place to give you a taste of what's possible with the new housing system.

Any home that you have to pay gold or crowns for and is not possible to obtain for free on a new character of that alliance has more furnishing slots. I'm sure we'd all agree that the number of furnishing slots in every house is insufficient for our decorating dreams, but the drastic difference in furnishings between a free room and a paid house is the difference between getting for free vs paying with gold or crowns.

Painfully true. Housing could have been my favourite aspect of this game but things like that, along with horrible alignment, shoddy walls, overlapping floors, non removable items/rubble/structures, and the absolute lack of logic in placement of things like stairs, make it that i haven't even properly 'finished' a single house.

    Hi there,

We have gone ahead and closed this thread down since it is rather old. Please keep in mind that sometimes it is better to create a new topic, instead of replying in one that was posted a while ago.
