I’m starting to think normal Maelstrom is a little too easy.
Congrats!
However I strongly feel like nMA is really deceiving.
The difficulty gap between nMA and vMA is really huge. They should add a "jMA" or "Journeyman MA" that enforces a bunch of the mechanics that you can easily ignore in nMA. Just tune them in a non "WTF half-shot => DEAD" flavour like they do in vMA.

That's pretty cool. An awesome for you, but I do need to ask how many CP points had you allocated to your toon, if any?
Yes, it works then they know how to play character has unlocked the right skills, and has decent gear lots of cp also help.I’m starting to think normal Maelstrom is a little too easy.
Low level characters get insane stat-boosts till they hit level 50. Thats why you often see low level characters do more dps in a dungeon then a fully legendary trail-geared 690cp character with a perfect rotation...talking about overcompensation eh?

TBH the only reason why I went in there was the crafting certificate. Yup. It asked me to craft some roast pig but I couldn't find White Meat anywhere in Davon's Watch. Didn't want to ask around and didn't want to buy from a guild. Gave it some thought and recalled the braziers in MA's starting room are full of it. So I went there. And while I was in there, why not give it a try.

There is actually a free sample, which is put on purpose on the bar next to the cook merchant. It's in the Watch House inn, right hand side. It's similar to the other starter towns.

Wait wait what?? I didn't notice this!! Maybe because I didn't even enter the inn because I knew I couldn't craft it yet. You are saying I ran MA for nothing?

You can now enter Cyrodiil. Another run and you'll be able to even equip 2 weapon bars. And if you keep running you'll hit 50 pretty soon. It's excellent for grinding, doesn't require assistance (Skyreach is pretty tough if you try doing it alone on a low level char and doesn't work on all classes), and you can't get people "leeching" your XP like overland grind spots.
As for the crafting certification, I'm pretty sure you can do it starting at level 6. You have to pick up the consumables quests from the bald Dunmer in the Mages Guild and the gear ones from the curly red-headed Bosmer woman in the Fighter's Guild (I don't remember the names). You will be directed to the spots where you'll find the crafting materials you need for the required item, so the pointer should have directed you to the inn. I did those quests on 14 characters across all alliances, the towns and the location differ but the basics are the same.
