How would you feel if ZoS sold weapon skins in the crown store? Now obviously, this wouldn't be the same as the new costume system where you can change the weapon coloring, but it'd be like say; they sold skins of daedric artifacts, without giving us the actual weapon. People have suggested that we get daedric artifacts, but that's not lore-friendly, so this would just be a reskin.

Think of it like your character uses illusion magic, or has someone cast an illusion spell on their weapons/shield/armor to look like the artifacts.

I think it would be cool. Please though..... no Daedric Artifacts. I’d hate to see them being sold on the Crown Store. If Daedric Artifacts are seen then they should be available through in-game content.

I think it’d be much better if they were handled like Master/Maelstrom/Asylum weapons, or if Daedric Weapon skin runeboxes dropped from the next trial HM (at 100% drop rate instead of this 1% clockwork curator nonsense). As long as it maintains some serious rarity through difficulty of acquisition then I’m happy. Not from the Crown Store.

Using the Crown Store to sell weapon skins as a whole would be nice addition.

I mean now that we have the Outfit system coming it really opens up the imagination to what else is possible. Might be difficult to add functionality to it that isn't tied to motifs, but I'm not really opposed to the idea if they have cool one-off weapon skins they want to try selling.

I don't see how that is relevant. I want more content to be included IN-GAME. I don't mind if it is in a DLC, as long as it is in-game. There is over-saturation of Crown Store content right now, compared to in-game content.

Sure as long it's for a reasonable price and the designs are very creative then I don't mind supporting the game. Hopefully there will be cool design weapon skins in the game where it will be on par with crown store weapon skins. That way the consumers will have options whether to buy or search for the weapon of their desire.

Yes but the weapon would have to obiviously be of the same type but I have frostcaster motif finally and want to use the greatsword in cryodill but cannot afford to give up the ignore 20percent resitance with maul just because of the way something looks. Plus more options are always better than less.
