Giant Spider Set in the golden

Does anyone know whats up with this set? The two piece is the same as swarm mother but the 1 piece is 4% healing taken (one piece in swarm mother is stamina recovery)... Does is work with swarm mother if I buy it? I'd much rather have healing taken than stam revovery on a set that requires blocking...

Its a old, out dated set from back in the day and looks like another oversight on zenimaxs part.
If it works? Not to sure, havent been on to try it out

Nope. Will not work with the current monster shoulders. Don't waste your gold on it.

Well, I guess if you can get Giant Spider's Helm from luxury vendor, you can also get the shoulders in the same way later

I wouldn't neccissarily say "don't get it"

If you have the funds to spare, its kinda cool owning an item that isn't actually supposed to exist in the game. And if the shoulders end up on the vendor at some point in the future you could possibly complete the set.

As far as I know it is an item that should not be in a base game and is a left-over from one tamriel update (apparently it was available only on PTS as a variant of swarm mother set). I have no clue how it got to Gold Vendor RNG list...

btw. Since this item is on gold vendor RNG list i guess it is also possible that shoulder set piece is also on that list....

PS: Also worth noting that the shoulders do exist as an item, they just aren't used in any current loot tables.

It has a unique 4% healing taken 1pc bonus. Other monster sets have 2% healing received but not healing taken. So you could use it as a one piece in a healing stacking build.
