So why the hell is flare being spammed so much now? I can't cloak anymore. There is detect pots and magelight already. Could we reduce the radium of flare or something?

✭✭✭✭I like Flare.
It's targeted and requires atleast a modicum of skill from the adversary to anticipate your movements, unlike det pots, Piercing Mark or Volatile Armor spam.
To be honest, I kind of wish it did something atleast against non-NBs/stealthers - I see no real reason to slot it on any class/build currently for it being a bit too niche - but maybe I'm missing some new trick/bug with it & someone will enlighten me?Edited by DDuke on January 5, 2018 6:20PM3 -

But flare is painful because it's cheaper than magelight (If you pick the right morph it does disgusting amounts of damage. My tooltip says 27k over 3 seconds and thats unbuffed) and finally it's a GT AoE which is a little weird up W/E

To be fair flare does hurt a lot if it hits.
Not something that needs changing though.
Though cloak does have a load of counters, only main class skill that does.PS4 EU DC

I'm in cyro alot but I avoid keeps and zergs like the plague, Internet doesn't like it and I always crash. But that said if they are are puglet spamming flare... just kill him. Puglet in a zerg? Why are to stealthing around trying to bomb? That's a suicide run anyway. If a zerg is after you, you're probably dead anyway, all the mark blades and detect pots they run0
