Leveling will give you a free mount for milestones, what about achievement milestone mounts?

Awesome that zos is giving us this but what about a achievement milestone system as well? Having 20k plus achievement points means that you have dipped into all the content zos has to offer. You can't really prove you have it and there is no real incentive to get achievements that have no reward tied to them but as a completionist I'll still get them anyway. It would be nice if zos added rewards that rewarded players that complete as much content that zos developers have worked hard on, whether pvp, pve, questing you must experience them all to get a high achievement point so reward those who experience the game to the fullest with exclusive rewards. Mounts, skins, titles etc are ideas. and say milestones at 5k, 10k, 15k,20k etc as achievement milestones

I really like the idea of levelling rewards for getting lots of achievements on one character. Dyes are already a great reward but because they are account-wide different characters can unlock different dyes.

Different playstyles get different kinds of rewards, and rewarding high achievement scores would be nice for completionist type players. I don't know what would be an appropriate reward because players shouldn't feel they HAVE to get 15/20k achievement points just to get something free, so no crown crates or mounts. One idea for a reward could be an "adoring fan" pet that you can place in your home. Or perhas just a new achievement furnisher who only appears when you have a certain number of achievements.

I've bought that horse 2 or 3 days before the announcement, and I'm a fairly new player. I really could use that 10k gold right now... but that's life, even in Tamriel.

Companies offer things all the time to new customers that old ones do not get. This is a very common business practice. You may not like it, but in the real world, it happens a lot. Do you get a check in the mail every time the car you drive gets discounted? Do you get the free phone new customers get for signing a contract? You can say my logic is flawed, it that doesn't make it true, and that is the way the world works.

I admit I'm currently holding off on levelling my characters any further until the next update (which basically limits me to crafting writs and stealing), but it doesn't bother me that I've 'missed' a lot of the rewards by starting earlier.

From what I've heard and seen myself in my brief time on the PTS the vast majority of levelling rewards are useless to existing characters, or even accounts that have 1 or more characters above that level. It's things like 1 piece of level appropriate equipment or a small selection of low level crafting materials.

The only ones worth worrying about if you're not brand new are the crown crates (which you can only get once per account and apparently it will always be a flame atronach one) and the costume which apparently is one of the plain mages guild ones. As people have already said the mount is just the basic brown horse.

Yes it's annoying to find out I could have gotten the horse free. But it was already a waste of money when I got it because I had the white Imperial horse, and the White Mane horse which I got with the free crowns I got for buying ESO in the first year. So it's not a big deal to me.

But to answer your question, yeah, I usually get a free phone if my contract is changed to include it. They send me an email or a message of some kind telling me there's this new offer for my contract that includes a new phone, and how to get it if I want it. It's called customer retention, companies want to get new customers, but they also want to keep the old ones.

Everyone gets a chance to try out the new leveling system. The character limit is increased to 15, so that players with full character lists can try out the leveling system and get the rewards (most of which are useless to a non-new player). Also the rewards for the system are only obtainable once. You do not get them every time you level a new character.

On ESO Live. I mean, it's only (at most) 14 keys, so that's just running the vet pledges on two characters one day.

They are increasing number of available character slot extensions through crown store by 1. So the game will allow you to do that.

Agree with OP. Some reward mount or skin opon completing the more tedoius/time consuming achievements, like Master Angeler, would be awesome!

Didnt have to be new uniqe mounts/skins, could be rare stuff from Crown store.

They confirmed that in live stream, and I'm sure it was mentioned on the PTS forum in the Levelling Advisor thread. Basically if you want the 1/account rewards you have to level a new character. If you already have 14 toons, you will be able to buy a new slot from the Crown Store.

What a scam to get another $15 for the purchase of a character slot. With the Warden we should have gotten 1 free slot but nope, and now for this they still won't just to scam another $15 from players. I refuse to purchase ANY additional slots as they are far too overpriced IMO. ZOS keeps pushing me (and I am sure others) away with stupid decisions only based on greed. I understand they need to make money but at what point is it blatant greed and not giving us value for our money? I cancelled my ESO+ already but now I may just completely quit and move on if they keep doing this BS!

Most vet HM pledges take 30 minutes at most with a decent group (excluding the DLC dungeons).

according to the most recent notes? you cannot. they changed it so that its ONLY obtainable from level up rewards. ZoS really REALLY wants us to buy that character slot and level a new character, apparently

As I understand it, you can still only have a max of 8 storage chests (4 of each for a total of 360 slots), so you could still buy from the Tel Var or Writ Voucher merchants. So you aren't getting an extra one by leveling a new character, just a free one.

All rewards are Account Bound so you can trade them between characters if you want. Of course the mount can be used on any character just like any mount can.
