The Radius Rebreather

Considering I bought ESO for $10 on a Steam sale and have invested 600 hours into it's glory, I like to show appreciation and support by picking up a few crown crates each season. Nothing crazy, usually just the four pack each time. Last night I decided to jump on the current season during the crown sale, and what I received was a rather curious gas mask titled the Radius Rebreather. Now this object may not appeal to many players, but imho this thing is just sweeeeet. The description referred to Apostles wearing it so they didn't breathe in metal fragments that were in the air or something like that, and so this leads us to my question.

Where is it that these rebreathers need to be worn, lore-wise? Who are these Apostles? A quick google search on the Rebreather itself only led to a forum post on here about it being offered.

It is a Clockwork City thing. Radius Rebreather will still look cool, but the gear style and the reference to "Apostles" will make more sense if you play through the Clockwork City story line.

Ahhh makes sense then. I just picked up Guilds and Glory this weekend during the Crown sale so after I wrap those up I'll have to check out CWC
