Mag sorc help

Ok so i habe seen two parses of liquid lighting at 8k dps. Mine is at 3k. Elemental blockade is at 2k and i saw it at 6k. This cant all be group buffs . What am i missing ? This is not a rotation thing it has to be a build thing.

If it's not uptime or misplacement, no one can tell you without a look at your stats and CP.

First most of the time phrases from boss fights show AOE damage and you can buff your damage quite a lot with raid buffs.


Take for example minor vulnerability and lightning woe with the right cp setup it gives a 18% damage buff.(This are the buffs you can actually give as mag sorc for your grp and mostly the reason to still bring a mag sorc)

A lot of minor buffs(5% spell damage, ..), warhorn(15% crit damage+10% more max stats), spc(+250 spell damage), minor berserker(8% damage) and resistance debuffs(alkosh, minor resistance debuff, crusher+stam support sets) do the rest. But keep in mind that bosses with mechanics will make that you have lower dps than you may theoretical can get on a dummy with all this buffs and it is the payers skill(or just luck) that they still have quite high dps despise the mechanics.

Ok i guess i am talking too different things. Your reply made me relize this. So my tool tip is 3k on liquid lightning and my tool tip for wall of elements is 2.2k , are these good tool tip numbers?

I now relize i cant compare them to somones dps.
