I feel sad remembering how epic and amazing PvP use to be, but I remember the days of entering Cyrodiil typing LFG and joining 20+ other people raiding deep into enemy territory, 100+ people charging at each other on horses and clashing.
Now your lucky if someone even invites you to a group, and end up just racing solo backwards and forwards trying to find people to run with.

PVP is _______!

PVP is actually still a lot of fun as long as I'm playing it with people I like playing with for a couple hours of entertainment!

Its sort of like running Vaults of Madness for the 1000th time with randoms is a boring, horrible, awful, no-good, very bad grind.
But...
Running Vaults of Madness for the 1001th time with my friends is an awesome, laugh-filled race to sacrifice a party member to the first boss, leap to our deaths on the cliffs, and see how quickly we can burn the Mad architect this time.

Its a lot easier to get annoyed with the shortcomings of ESO PVP and the ignorance of my own faction pugs when I'm not having fun with friends. Conversely, having fun with my friends makes it a lot easier to enjoy the good things that come from ESO PVP and to commiserate over the bad.

PVP is an activity to get zerged down. and get high lag spikes. ESO is sort of a chore now ... things I have to do vs things I want to do.

If this is humorous in intent, yeah, Cryodiil is a riding simulator. The following advice doesn't apply to you, only to people who might have that problem.

If that's how Cyrodiil PVP is working out for you seriously, there's some changes you can make.
A. Make sure you've got impenetrable trait gear. Getting one or two-shot sounds like you are really squishy or getting critically hit.
B. Don't be afraid to run with a group for get tankier in order to survive long enough to enjoy Cyrodiil combat. You have to survive longer than a one-shot or two-shot to gain experience in Cyrodiil.
C. Gankers tend to lurk on the common paths between keeps because they know their targets will move for objectives. If you're in a group, don't be last. If you're solo, you might try the road less traveled.

Is fun and spooky in IC otherwise mostly crap. In IC I often even load up on 10k telvar just to make it interesting. LOVE IC!

To me pvp is a giant 3v1. Small groups and big groups target 1 character at a time. Regardless of odds. It could be a group of 10 vs 30+ zerg. The group of 10 travels to a pinch point and then outnumbers them.

As stale and broken as pvp is, it is still fun to kill other people.

Just wish zos would adjust major things like useless sets, skills. Overpowered poisons and potions that break counterplay. Find real uses for smale scale and single players as well as giant groups.

Join gvg’s and bring your guild/friends and enjoy organized fights vs other like minded groups looking for fun and challenging fights where you can set the rules/bans and fight on new and unfamiliar terrain.
2-12 or more of you have opponents with the same interest.

yeah because more AP and ranks will totally make people love PvP.

Its not like its infested with lag, exploits, bugs, loading screens, bad balance..

No, Its totally unpopular because its so easy to reach AR 40. obviously.

We don't need dumb PvE goals and grinding system in PvP. All we need is bug fixes, better balance, better optimized cyrodiil.
Less of the game breaking stuff.

Dude honestly...go into a region in IC to take the flag, see corpse of boss still on flag...take the flag anyway and mess your pants standing there waiting for flag to take forever to flip and gtfo asap. Go to next area and see dead mobs everywhere. You know the asskick is coming...you just don't know when. So awesome.

Except sometimes you stomp them and feel.like a boss. Sometimes they punch your face, in the face.

On the other hand though you sometimes get whispers of someone who is harsh and whipped your arse a second ago asking what you're doing 'meh just tryna grab some ap on the flags' and they're all go ahead, whisper.me when you're done.

There really are non *** out there. And no it's not about AP they are Bigjobs usually who do that, not scrubs.
