Class Builds as Player Classes in Shooters

Stupid little random thought. I began to wonder which Class Build in ESO would be the counterpart to the common character classes in First Person Shooter multiplayer games, where each class supported the team in their own way.

Assault = StamBlade, StamPlar, or StamSorc

• This is your typical go in and brawl class, a grunt on the frontlines. So to me a StamBlade and StamPlar fits the bill for their close in physical damage. Getting in your face and ruining your day style of combat.

Support = StamKnight, MagKnight, or MagSorc

• This is the heavy weapons guy. The one that sets up supporting fire and contributes specialty damage to the overall attack. They also absorb increased incoming damage and can shield their allies from overwhelming fire.

Medic = MagPlar

• The Healer, (obviously), would be the Magic Templar. They can fight, but they're the ones that fix your booboos and pick you back up to chuck you back into the fight. It's okay if they hide around the corner while Healing, they're not supposed to be face hugging the enemy.

Specialist = MagBlade, MagSorc, or either Warden

• The unorthodox combat class. The stealthy and the ranged fighters. Best at picking off from a distance instead of straight up fights. (Why do you think MagBlades spam Cloak so much?)

I personally fit best as a Support and Medic role. I'm just not built for straight up fighting and I for the love of me can't figure out tanking. I love supporting my team and being the helping hand that makes others do better. And I'm perfectly fine if that means I fight from the sidelines or back ranks. It's probably why I mainly play Engineer in Planetside 2, or Artillery in World of Tanks. Which class roles do you all prefer?
