Love the Villains 3

The view of Villains that have no power and strength but smart and clever and very strategic on how to sway or please people to do his will. Let's get down to the point basically a mastermind that is a genius that knows how to play his cards right and use his people, allies, enemies, monsters and daedric princes like a chessboard. When it comes down to it just like Mannimerco but we're talking about someone without power without the strength that can play the main role in a chapter or DLC more like the old Lex Luthor.

Please feel free to give your thoughts, ideas, and opinions on this topic.

Sounds good enough but I know we can add more to the list.

It's always an interesting type of villian..but a daedric prince would know their schemes but allow them for theit own benefit.

I think at any rate...someone like you describe should be created..would be very deep fun quests

I wanted to name Estre and then remembered she knew at least enough magic to portal herself out and summon bunches of Daedra through most of Auridon. :/ Kurog's mother knew magic too, but she was closer.

Thank you for the compliment, I'll probably play like a mixture of Mad Hatter in The Riddler.

There's the villain of the Thieves Guild DLC. And the villain of the Dark Brotherhood DLC, who had some power in the end but mostly did it all through good old-fashioned manipulation. And one of the villains of the Orsinium DLC, who pulls a bit of power out but again, does it mostly through old-fashioned manipulation.

Oh, and the villain of the Morrowind questline who plays the Vestige like a lute to nearly accomplish his goals.

With the exception of the villain of Morrowind and the final boss fight of Dark Brotherhood (which I'm willing to forgive the final boss fights because its a video game, there has to be a final boss fight), none of those villains could go toe to toe with the Vestige and they know it.

Kurog imo was the best villain we got so far, after him I'd say the TG one (dont remember his name)
From most zones, I cant name anyone because most of them were magic based villains (mages, battlemages and the similar types)
except maybe Jorunn's brother, he had some schemes, where he would have won if we wouldnt be there to foil them, or the Covenant general in Stonefalls to some degree, or the Hound in Malabal Tor at least some of these had potential
But I hope that in the future, we get a Moriarty typo villain at least, because so far ZoS proved that they have good writers, we just need to step aside of the Daedric threats

Given that the upcoming story arc is all to do with the daedric princes that's been foreshadowed since the end of the main questline, I don't foresee us saying farewell to daedric threats any time soon.

So just a scheming, intelligent individual that is influenctially powerful instead of physically powerful?

Trump for next villian. He's trying to build a wall around Elsweyr to make Cyrodiil great again.

    I regret nothing.

You can't play a daedra. They're always smarter than you.

Otherwise yes, I do wish we had villains that were more competent. The ending of Mannimaro's arc was very disappointing.
