Want a new Skill line for everyone ? Shouts ?

Dragon Born Skill line with Shouts....many shout skills...

and it could easily work for both stamina and Magica users because they are well Shouts...Dragon language....

To learn shouting as non-dragonborn you need to spend 80+ years, and can't speak normal language anymore + shouts will never be that strong as dovahkiin's

Before I could protest he launched into the story of his life, the subject of which—himself—he seemed very enthusiastic about. He was a product of the north-coast port town of Fharun, where he'd grown up with the conviction he was destined for bigger things. When he was old enough he'd left and made his way to central High Rock, where he'd fallen in with an old half-Akaviri arms-trainer who had taught him the ways of the so-called "dragonknights." It was then that he finally found his true calling perfecting the form of magical combat that the dragonknights refer to as "ardent flame."

Blowhard or no, once he brought up the arcane arts he piqued my interest. I asked him to tell me more about this discipline of martial magic, as I was unfamiliar with it, and he was only too happy to oblige. With ardent flame, he explained, the dragonknight could set his enemies afire, draw them to him with a flaming lasso, wreath himself in a cloak of flame, even breathe fire just like the legendary dragons of yore. And this was, he asserted, because a dragonknight used actual dragon magic handed down from those mighty warriors who fought and won a war with the dragons back before the First Era.

And remember, being Dragonborn is a spiritual thing; even if we weren't in the middle of the Interregnum where there aren't any confirmed Dragonborn until Tiber Septim shows up in a few centuries, the Vestige had their soul stolen. So it would never make sense with the main quest, and is never going to happen in ESO.

Also, the very fact that there are -no- dragonborn around is at the crux of the interregnum period which will last for a few more centuries. And only end when the next dragonborn appears, the aforementioned Talos aka Tiber Septim.

So, a big fat "nope" to Thu'um skill line.

Want to use dragon magic? Go for dragonknight, and barf fire or icky green stuff at your enemies!

Not like there aren't more then enough other interesting skill lines we could have... especially stuff we see NPCs use with a certain sense of envy...

No. I only play Bosmer and they don't have big enough lungs to shout effectively. Cute yes, shouty, no.

Skyrim kiddie with no lore knowledge xD. Explains most of your threads.

But, I am curious if you have any other skill line ideas outside of Necromancy and shouts. Personally I think most combat useful, and immersion friendly, skills are covered without adding bloat

The Vestige is not Dragonborn. Had they been, they would have been able to light the Dragonfires in Imperial City and bring the protection back up between Oblivion and Nirn, and ended the Planemeld a whole lot easier.

So, no Dragon Shout skills for you!

Nord fans already have a game where they can shout, TES isn't all about Skyrim stuff. It's enough, bring us something new (I'm somewhat suprised to see another Nord themed DLC on Q1 2018)!

it would be an buff to stamina builds both ways.
