can't enchant a bow

i've been crafting since beta without any trouble at all, but now i'm really confused about one item that i can't figure out how to enchant

i made a Truly Superb Glyph of Absort Stamina to use on a Spriggan's Bow, but the glyph never appear on the Enchant Item menu.

i tested it on other bows and the glyph appear correctly in all Enchant Item menu of other weapon and bows except on my Spriggan's Bow.

then i decided to make a few of other weapon glyphs and i found out that no glyph appear on the menu.

so... what am i missing here? what am i doing wrong? isn't it possible to enchant a Spriggan's Bow? i was able to enchant all the other items of this set except the bow, could it be because i collected the other items and i bought the bow?

btw... i tried to disable all addons a restart the game. nothing changes, but i still can enchant all the other weapons. any ideas? is this normal?

What enchant is on the bow already? You can't put the same quality or lower of the same enchant an item already has.

it's the same enchant but it's lower. my idea was to upgrade it.

but i tried dozens of different weapon glyphs and nothing appear on the Spriggan's Bow.

just in case i also tried to apply the glyph in Bangkorai O_o with all addons off, and nothing.

i'm really not understanding this.

Sounds like a bug. I'd contact support with screenshots or a video.

put a different enchant on then the one you want. does that work?

did that and received an automatic reply telling me that I "will not receive a further response to this ticket".

looks like i need to find another way to fix this.

i spent a lot of materials upgrading that bow to legendary, i can't just destroy it now

Is it unlocked? Meaning enable deconstruct unlock

it was never locked. i bought it green, upgraded it to legendary with no problem (so, not locked) and then, when i tried to enchant, unlike any other item from the same set, no glyph appear on the enchant menu, nothing.

i've been doing lots and lots of weapon glyphs of different levels and type, nothing appear on the Spriggan's Bow enchant item menu, but all appear on other weapons.

it was really a bad idea to upgrade it to legendary before applying the enchantment. i always did that but from now on i'll never do it again. it's not safe anymore.

Maybe the bow is a lower level than the glyph?

well... i can't now because i found a way.

i stored the bow and glyph in the bank, launched the game with a different character, and it worked
