I know a lot of people enjoy the fishing aspect of ESO for many different reasons, whether relaxation, socializing, or farming those damn golden eggs. It was nice to see a small change to the fishing system with Homestead, with the addition of catching housing items. But to me, fishing still seems a bit lacking and could be updated a bit. I was curious if you all have had any ideas on potential ways to upgrade the fishing system within reason. I've seen some complex fishing systems in other mmos, but not everything may be practical.
For me, I thought it would be cool to introduce a creel, that would take up 1 slot in your inventory and would be a storage container for fish. Then, you could introduce sizes or weights for fish, something that typically matters when catching a fish. Based on size or weight, you would have a higher probability of getting roe, or more fish fillets, or something else that I can't think of right now. Of course, introduction of different sizes or weights would complicate fish in an inventory, thus the introduction of the creel, which could be sold by a vendor for a nice sack of gold (not sure what a price would be right now). Sizes or weight wouldn't have to be too complex, I'm not suggesting a salmon of 11lb 2ounces and a salmon of 11lb 3.5 ounces, but some sort of size class would be kinda cool.
