Help!
I'm on Mac, and I have the game and morrowind, everything was up to date as of last night at 7pm. fast forward 12 hours, and I wake up and go to log on, and it says I need to install an update in my launcher, and then says I dont have enough space on my hard drive. But the game is already on it, mostly, and I have 100 free gb on my hard drive, I cant find anywhere where it tells me how much space I actually need.

I played last night and just logged in this morning (PC/NA) with no issues.

So, try this. Reboot the Mac, use the Launcher and then do a repair. In fact, you might even be able to use a shortcut, I think Mac calls them Alias's, and launch that way before you try a repair. Also, make double sure your not logging into the PTS, that is the only thing really updated recently and that is a mirror game install.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    FIXED!
I remember this happening a year ago. You were right. I created a shortcut, from where I normally access launcher. Then, with that on desktop, I had removed game from my app bar below, whatever its called (mental block) and then today I realized it was my first time launching from there.

So how do I put an icon on my desktop to access the game then?
I can live with this set up to be able to play, but it still bothers me I cant simply create a shortcut to do this.

Last time it happened, there were 3 different icons for it with diff names like ESO and ESO Launcher and ESO (Steam) which I honestly haven't ever looked into Steam, used Steam, or anything so idk what it is. I think its a type of console program for the computer, with an accessible game library in it? and it launches games through that instead of, say, a Launcher like I use?
