DC's/Crashes/Freezing when quitting game or logging off/logging on character

In the past month, I've been experiencing several DC's, crashes or the game freezing when I quit the game or am logging off a character to switch to another. Loading characters is also slower than before these other issues started and nearly every time I load a character, the game temporarily is unresponsive while loading. Sometimes when loading a character, I get a CTD.
On occasion, when I get a DC, I get an error message saying my client cannot connect to the server and to check if I have a valid internet connection. Every time, nothing appears wrong with my internet connection. I am using a 5G internet connection and don't encounter issues like this with any other online activity.
I have already sent in several crash reports via teh bug report pop-up from crashes when quitting the game, but am now experiencing DC's more often when logging off characters as well as freezing while loading characters.
I have tried disabling both out-of-date add-ons and all add-ons entirely. Does not seem to improve any of the issues stated above.

PC-NA since 2015. Tired and unimpressed.
