What happens if you buy a home that you don’t have DLC access to?

For example, say I buy the Observatory Prior. And I don’t own the Clockwork DLC. Will I be able to freely access my home?

Or say for example I buy the house, and currently have access to the DLC it’s located within through ESO+. Then choose to not subscribe to ESO+ 1 day in the future. Will I still have access to my home?

Buy the dlc with crowns before choosing to unsubscribe, problem solved. I'm guessing you would lose access otherwise. Just like we lose the craft bag after dropping the subscription.

Yes, you can access your home from the Map. Just if you leave by the door, you will be sent back to the zone you were in.

You can test this by previewing the home from the store. If you can get there, you can buy it.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

You will always be able to access your house. The only difference is you won't be able to physically walk through the front door into your house (because you can't access the zone). Likewise if you walk out of the house through the front door you will just be teleported back to where you were before you entered your house (because again you can't access that zone). The short of it is that houses are not actually "part" of a dlc, that's just their location on the game world.

I believe it said in the patch notes that if you bought a DLC zone house but didn't own the DLC that if you left the property by the front door you would be returned to the last place you were in the base game.
