Have you (or do you know of anyone) who has met someone IRL that they met in this game ? It’s crazy how a game can bring people together. I had a buddy meet his girlfriend in this game and now they are living together and happy . Just wondering if anyone else had stories like this with ESO.

I met a few people in game that I knew in real life, professionally, but only after a time we realised we were us...If you see what I mean.2 -

we had lots of fun conquering the terrifying snow pile boss and we're gonna meet up again at some point while one of them is in town.

I've met some awesome people. And only one regretful meeting, but I kinda set myself up for that one.

resdayn00✭✭✭Technically yes, since I have friends in-game that I've known IRL long before playing the game together. One of them I first met personally AFTER playing the game together, but again, we have a common childhood friend, so that was the main reason for us meeting. People I met in-game and THEN met IRL? Not in ESO, but happened before. I met my partner of 8 years in an online video game as a child.
Not my story, but some of my past guildies shared stories about meeting others IRL, and I know several couples who play the game together, some of them actually met through ESO.PC EU - Ebonheart Pact

The tech asked which game and lit up with excitement when we both said ESO. We joked about stressing on feeding all our damn horses. He took pity on us and expedited the repir. ✭✭✭✭✭I find the example of meeting someone in an MMO then they date and get married (heard of this quite a few times) to be rather obvious
if you think about it people tend to be incredibly "real" in an MMO because of the fact you may never meet them, so there is not really a "mask". you learn if people are good or bad with money in a "safe" environment, how they handle stress in situations (pvp, raids, etc) how they play also reflects on them, are they a flower sniffer, do they prefer to spend time fishing or in pvp, etc.
you see how people treat others on a large basses, if they create drama or avoid it, how they handle social situations (if at all) are they introvert or extrovert, etc.
as I said it makes perfect sense and is quite interesting, we just nee an Eharmony for MMO's so all us nerds can be happy
