Always wondered about Bravil why it's there

Ever since i started playing eso on ps4 in 2015 and become ad i always wondered why that area was there just a ways outside ads gate i've tried to make it in there a number of times but always end up getting ported back to are starting area at the gate or get killed by slaughter fish i'm just curious is all is this suppose to be a future dlc area or something or was it going to be a area and then just never finnish has anyone even managed to get over the walls there and get inside

I guess it‘s there due to the fixed location in the lore. But it has no meaning in the game - unfortunately.
It is (was?!) possible to get there. Lots of guilds used to farm with scrolls on the island waiting for pugs to swim through slaughterfish.

I've been there before to fish, but you need rapid maneuver and being an Argonian helps, but if you go too far towards the edge of the map you'll get teleported out.

I take all my characters there to fish and you don't need rapid maneuver or an Argonian to get there. That's all I'm going to say!

It will be probably added by a further expansion that includes Elsweyr, since in the 2nd era it was not yet part of Cyrodiil. I've noticed that certain zones do contain poorly rendered areas of zones that would be adjacent to them in game. For example from the Gold Coast you can see a part of Valenwood. Even Cyrodiil is still missing a large part of it, namely Colovia, which I suspect it will be added as DLC as well at some point.
