So most Tamriel cultures resemble IRL cultures - and i was recently watching the trailer for the upcoming Tomb Kings DLC for Total Warhammer 2 (yay); so i was thinking - is there a culture that resemble this ancient egypt style regarding armor/weapons? Red guards / Yokudan / Ra Gada / Abah's Watch comes to mind but they seem to be more based around Arabia, Persia etc...

I would loooove and ancient egypt motif style with kopesh weapons etc...but i am not that versed in all the lore?

    Nope.

Incidentally, Warhammer does have an equivalent to the Redguards with Araby (which are on the map for TWW2, but are using the same bastardized Empire army list as the Border Princes in TWW1.)

There's some Egyptian-ish iconography with the Redguards, particularly their tombs, but there's nothing really analogous to Warhammer.

Actually, much as I like it, Warhammer and TES don't really have that much in common. Warhammer's elves are just politically distinct, but they're all the same race. The Dwarves are very much alive and kicking. The Empire is analogous to sixteenth century Europe. The Norsicans are far more Vikings than TES's Nords. Chaos is very different from Oblivion, and this only becomes more pronounced if you understand The Warp from 40k.

    So, no, not really.

Nope, what we get are the Redguard, and they're pretty Persian. I noticed several times people have wanted other real world cultures reflected in Elder Scrolls, but that's just not the case. We have the ten races and only them, not counting the four on Akavir nor the Sea Elves or Sload etc.

well sure but that doesn't mean such a motif can't pop up - i mean we have had several motifs that i have never seen or heard of in other TES games that resemble real life cultures or are at least influenced by them

There's a huge difference between, "here's a variation on a theme from a canon culture," and, "hey, here's this thing you like from another game."

Funny bit of information - there are at least -one- khopesh-style weapon in elder scroll lore. It appeared in TES-III:Tribunal, and was originally crafted by the dwemer for Almalexia - yup, her sword "Hopesfire" (which I always considered the "coolest ever" weapon for my dear old nerevarine girl back in TES-III... which is a little sad, since you only get it at the very end of the Tribunal expansion...)

Several other existing style go in the same direction, one was or another, from Abahs watch to ancient orc, from assassins leage to hollowjack, from telvanni to grim harlequin, though none are -quite- right of course...

One great way to introduce an "egyprian style" motiv might be ascribing it to the "sinistral elves" which got wiped out by the redguards ages ago... same sandy region, different then the arab/persian themed of the redguards... it could work well.

    Chariots would be nifty!

    For imperials especially!

I imagine a two-person mount, one driver to take care of the movement, one passenger to take care of the attacking... not sure if their game system can handle this of course, if it it could be refitted... it would open the way to even more fun with heavy three-person chariots, or big multi-person siege engines or warmounts like those elephantine beasts in LotR...
