Horrible lag in cyrodil

This is an actual serious question becasue im over it
have you guys given up on trying to fix FPS and Ping issues in cyrodil? because im over having 300+ms in pvp, its so crazy, and this issue has been in the game for way to long, years even!
please put more time into fixing this issue, before you kill your own game

This is sick. On PC EU yesterday ping was unbearable, especially toons with lots of cast time and channeled abilities are affected. 5s to cast lethal arrow, or 90% missed sweeps because target is already somewhere else?
Don't pretend that everything is ok, its not. Remember how many excelent players had left because of lags in Cyro in the past (meteor rains, immortal people etc.), and they dragged much more friends with them. Don't let this to happend again...

It pretty much sucks on all classes. Magsorc for instance takes almost as long to apply shields as the actual shield duration. I guess that's one way to nerf shield stacking, make the ping so bad you literally can't do it and still attack things.

The usual problem I really take with the lag is how inescapable it is. Oh, you think moving away from the zerg battle at chal will ease your ping at Brindle? Nope.

Even my instant cast whip had a 1 sec cast time yesterday Same thing today.

Took them 7+ months to bandaid the loading screen issue.. don't ever see them fixing the horrible horrible lag in Cyrodiil.. they just lack the ... fill in the blanks...

BTW: same issue today.. in-game latency show 120ms.. what a joke.. skills take 800-1500ms to even register.. then again.. nothing that hasn't been said a zillion times before... they know.. either they are silently working on it (ROFL) or they just don't see value in fixing Cyrodiil.

Yeah today was the same, usualy I wait a bit and lag goes away but its getting worse and worse with each day, Im afraid I will be forced to quit Cyrodiil and this is equal to quiting the game for me Maybe another brake? It will be fourth or fifth for me I guess.. Sucha shame, I had hope this wont happend again.

XBOX NA, had the same issue yesterday evening. Was fine for several hours.. then 10pm MST hit... and I logged off after about an hour of those shenanigans.

Schools out. Which means 48 man raids everywhere on EP and AD factions. DC will zerg the crap out of them as they always do, add Zerg Squad to the mix and you have an unplayable experience.

This maintenance will help a little, for a short time until the sheep log on again in desperate need of Vigor and Caltrops.

I hear these stories for over more then 2 years and nothing happened. I doubt ZOS will will fix this anytime soon; they probably have no idea what to do.

the issue isnt they dont know what to do
the issue is they arent prepared to spend time time and money into fixing the servers and fixing performance, it will take their time and their money, they want to bandaid it without spending that time and money

Try LA weaving to proc mercy bow as a magblade with the lag. the weave clunky enough with inferno staff then you throw high ping and there and it's rip, good luck getting two bows out of that timer

I'm hoping with uninstalling and reinstalling, redoing the usersettings.exe file will help with the fps part but I'm not getting my hopes up.

The lag has been horrible the last few nights that it's just log off and play something else. Log on and instant 500 ping and 5-8 second delay on skills and people say theyre not having no issues will skill delay or lag. Well please share your secrets on what you did cuz I'm gonna start calling every single person out that says they have no issues. Even console players are experiencing what pc players are experiencing

The lag was yesterday also in PvE land. I didn't even bother to go to Cyrodill because I had lots of 500-900 spikes just in empty PvE lands.

Dude what do you expect? They won't fix it ever, 3 years passed since release and nothing changed in terms of cyro lags... They are focused on pve content..

@Datthaw Try medium weaving instead. Often I can't do a light attack weave in lag, but a medium weave is more forgiving, and it's not like the time lost medium weaving will matter in extreme lag. Not like you were getting skills out on cooldown anyway.

Lag will always be here, its impossible to fix it because of the Engine and how the megaserver is built. Maybe if they reduce Population cap to 20/alliance it might get fixed tho >.>

I had to go into shor last night over Vivec, it was that bad. And even then there was still ability lag.
