Tracking a fellow group member

I am new to ESO and am having a problem where when my friend and I play in the same group, only the group leader can be tracked on the HUD if we are out of each other's physical sight. If we are in the same room then yes I can see the little arrow above their head but it does not show up on the HUD at any other time. Is there something that we need to do different to be able to have this work?

It might be harder to see, but to my knowledge you can see all group markers equally, not just group leader.

I might be wrong.

We play on PS4, not sure if it's a wrong setting issue or something but we have gone into empty areas and still not been able to see one another being in the next room or round a corner.

You are right. I play on Xbox NA. Drives me crazy. I hate being group leader, because I can't see anyone else. Can't believe this is still a discussion.... @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom ?????

Weird, on pc you can see the others both on overland and inside dungeons.

I play on Xbox. You may not see a little icon above the character, but I've always been able to see their health bar (royal blue on my default settings - as opposed to the pale teal I see from non-group mates).

However, when the map is pulled up, all group members show up with icons. (Leader = crown, all others = chevron)

Not sure what the big deal is, the health bar has always been enough for me, even when line-of-sight is obstructed.

Well Feric51 maybe it's a PS4 glitch cause I can't see the health bar through walls like you do on Xbox. Is there a fix for this in the works??? Does any Admin know?

This may not be the issue but I read, if your friend is doing a quest that you've already done, sometimes they go into an instance and you can't see them.

But again, not sure this is the problem.

Hurtfan thanks for the info...not our situation since we are running all of our quest together for the first time. But again good to know
