Flame Atronach Mount (more fire please)

I've noticed when compared to the other elemental and nature incarnations of it's type, the Flame atronach mount seems to have less noticeable "fire" effect coming off it's body where as the storm, frost, and wild versions seem to have a more active and pronounced elemental aura effect.

Any way to increase the fire coming off the mount please?

The fire atronach mounts look really horrible, especially compared to the storm atro ones.

Very little fire, no lava/molten rocks, just some orangey cheese looking sludge plastered with an few rocks here and there. Really a sloppy job for something that was supposed to be top tier mount rewards.

I'm thinking ZOS has their artists pump out too many cosmetics these days to fill up their store and crates. Otherwise such a huge oversight souldn't have gone through unnoticed.

I agree with Carbonised. If they want to improve those mounts, they need to totally destroy all evidence they existed and re-do them from scratch. Maybe burn the cubicle and computer where they were made as well, for good measure.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed.


From all the stills online the flame mounts seem to be captured w/their flame effect turned up which is why I rolled the dice on them. From a conceptual artist standpoint I bet the design sketches look great but when it got 3-D rendered it seemed to lose some wow factor.

Possible solutions: imo
- turn up the fire aura effect from whatever it is to twice that amount. (the actual fix)
- leave a wake of fiery foot prints where you go. (bonus)
- have owner fill out a survey then give the option to trade it for crown gems or another atronach type mount. (the give them what they want instead of fixing solution)

I like the concept of the mount but not so much the execution...I don't only want to ride my atronach at night either just so I can notice it's on fire.

As for scrapping it and redoing it from scratch? I can see that but likely it will just be a v2 of the flame atronach mounts available for purchase in the crown store...and possibly different incarnations of them. i.e. insects, fabricant, elk, etc.
