✭✭✭✭✭Do they though? My magplar carries roughly the same dps as my magblade with the ability to be far more tanky and supportive. Stam still rules the field in single target dps but magplars along with other mag classes still take the cake with trash clears which is the vast majority of most dungeons.1 -

The recent trial shows no trash clears needed thou... Magplar needs some single target love... Hell just give us a way to access Major Sorcery without having to use pots or structured entropy and I'll be happy.

✭✭✭✭✭The reason magplar has trash DPS is due to their skills not functioning as they should. Both Radiant destruction and sweeps have problems with how their extra dmg done is calculated (been wrong since Morrowind). Nightblade had the same issue with their execute skill, but zos fixed it. Still a mystery why ZOS haven´t fixed it for magplar yet.
The damage on sweeps and radiant destruction is calculated additive, when they should be calculated multiplicative. At the moment you get higher DPS with a heavy attack build than using your main 2 DPS skills as a magplar......If that doesn´t show you that something is wrong then I don´t know what.......7 -

Stop the grind! Get rid of stupid events and daily-quest gallore. Get rid of "have a chance of 1 in a million to get a piece of 1 in 30 to get a stupid motif or pet... wtf..."
And at this point just remove all classes and have everyone choose their set of skills. then balance accordingly to skills always used vs. skills never used.0 -

Radiant destruction doesn´t function as it should...
If I do a soloparse on my magblade on a target dummy I can get around 35-45k on impale (only elemental drain is applied and the spell damage and spell crit is the same as on my magplar). In a raid, fully buffed (this means SPC, combat prayer, warhorn etc.....) on my magplar I´ve never seen higher number than 45k on my jesus beam since Morrowind. What is the difference here????
ZOS fixed the scaling on nightblade execute but not magplar execute......
I´m all for nerfing/buffing skills in terms of raw damage (like when ZOS nerfed radiant by 21% because of PvP QQ/salt) but when an execute is so bad that it lower your overall dps in execute phase then something is very wrong.....Edited by Qbiken on December 18, 2017 7:51AM2
