Copying non-steam files to steam to avoid addidtional 90GB space

Hi. Did anyone here try copy files from non steam ESO to Steam ESO to avoid additional 90GB space on disk?
I have non steam version and buy for wife steam version. She download game but game need to install (after full DL) with additional 90GB. She use laptop to work and can remove more stuff on it (now have only 40GB free on this disk).
Did copying files from non steam version on steam version can help or I need to do any change in files (all steam need files are in her copy). Ex. I have zosSteamStarter too but my is only 27kb and her 244kb. When it is running - it try to install game.
