Fiords Stam Sorc?

Im currently in the process of leveling an Orc Stam sorc to run Fiords and 2h/bow and I already have all my Fiords gear but tbh I don't know what else to run. I was thinking 1 Domiahus or 1 Kena then idk whether to run medium shackle or if I should run Seventh Legion or Fury or I don't really know. I feel like if I pick heavy I'll lack in damage and feel as if I pick Shackle then I won't have enough damage. If i run automatons in afraid I won't have any sustain. Any advice is appreciated!

My pack mule/ gatherer was an orc in jailbreaker + fjords, with steed + wind running passive, I would use quick cloak for an additional 30% boost. I could outrun fully leveled mounts, So much fun.

Looks like you are going for PvP, so Spriggan's would be an okay choice if you are looking to go glass canon. Just my 2 cents...

It is for PvP, And no I don't want to go glass cannon tbh. That's my problem. I feel like I'll either lose out on damage or lose out on sustain with most sets I'd choose

I remember the stacking stealth speed bonuses.

vampire, shadow dancer, whatever the crafted 2 trait set is, + major expedition. Could outrun mounts on foot and in stealth as a sorc. I can only imagine what the NB speed bonus would have done to that.

Are you running Bound Armaments for a Stamina bonus or just aiming for a Weapon Damage stack
Fiord's + Bone Pirate has been on my list to try for a bit,
Bone Pirate's Tatters basically serves as my fill set for any inconclusive medium setup -- always have Camoran Throne running

At minor a bonus, the Chest piece from the dungeon quest comes in Impenetrable already

hilarious fun, but Fiords + Hurricane probably has more practical utility in terms of where its bonus comes into play

For a sprinter build I prefer darkstride over fiords. The 50% cost reduction is more impactful than the speed boost of fiords

I have an orc warden i created to determine the (current) speed cap for sprint, to farm at max speed.

After testing the various permutations of Fiord's, Jailbreaker and Coward's Gear with and without Charging Maneuver ,
i found that Fiord's is pretty much useless to an Orc.

Instead, Fiords' allows any race to be as max sprinty as Orcs are.

So if you're playing an Orc, best to drop Fiord's and use Coward's or Darkstride or Prisoner's for the side-benefits.

In the case of Coward's and Prisoner's you need only hold down the sprint key to proc them.

My orc warden has settled for Jailbreaker's and Coward's for the always active speed boost and never having to have Charging Maneuver on a skillbar, the major protection is great for farming around mobs too.

Ofc, Mundus is The Steed, Full divines sets, plus the cp Windrunner.

You could use prisoner set. That set gives you 1k mag every sec you sprint and reduces sprint cost too.
Combined with dark deal thats infinite sustain

my vote would be for some hundings, 1 pc kena, and go 5 medium/2 heavy...

edit: spriggans probably wouldn't be too bad...

I used to be a Nightblade until I took a nerf to the knee.

With Concealed Weapon, my Nightblade was stupid fast to the point that it was difficult to maneuver around properly, faster than a streaking sorc, because I could run for much longer than they could streak.

I thought all those horses were functionally identical and any differences were just cosmetic. Are you saying that the horses you buy ingame have different capabilities??

Id go Shacklebreaker, the extra magicka would allow for more dark deal, which you should easily be able to pull off with your high moment. This way you could go for full wpd glyphs, 1 domi a d have a fast,decently hard hitting and good sustaining setup.

Now all mount are equal.
Back at launch you had just 4 horses you bought for gold, the 10K gold one and three with +10 to speed, stamina or carrying capacity for 38K. You had to train each mount separate and could only spend 60 points.

They changed it so you now train the character rater than mount and can spend 180 point in horse training.
Still remember having to switch from the overland all point into storage to the speed pvp horse and lagging behind zerg if you forgot.

I would vote for hundings medium and bloodspawn to be a bit tankier.. Then you get dmg and crit from hundings and recovery/tanky from bloodspawn..
