Master lightning destro trait for magplar

Hi all
I'm experimenting with a 5 overwhelming 5 wiz riposte 1 master lightning staff on my magplar.
Atm the trait is infused which I don't think is too bad and it comes with a shock enchant, but I was just wondering if transmuting it to nirhoned would be better?
Also, I've heard some say that the spell resistance debuff on elemental drain can make destro staff as powerful as DW...can anyone confirm this? Thanks

Why don't you weave? It doesn't consume a global cooldown, and only adds to your damage. There is no downside to weaving.7-day PVP campaign regular 2016-2019, Flawless Conqueror. Why don't you weave? It doesn't consume a global cooldown, and only adds to your damage. There is no downside to weaving.
I play with 300ping so lighter weaving through jabs is painful.0 -

Holy crap dude you were right about diseased enchant with infused that thing is insane especially if I weave with jabs.
If I were to change the staff to nirhoned though wouldn;t I still be able to proc disease enchant? would not having infused affect the duraction of the major defile debuff ?
I'm wondering how a nirhoned master staff with disease would compare to an infused one0
