End Game StamDK DPS Sets.

Hello all, thanks for taking the time to read my topic. I would greatly appreciate your help and insights. So Ill cut to it. I'm working on collecting end game gear so that I can be more versatile when doing group content such as vet dungeons and trials. In regards to StamDK DPS characters, what are the best sets to have at the ready and when is the best time to use them?

I currently have full sets of Night Mothers Gaze (NMG), Hundings Rage, Sunderflame, and Twice Fanged Serpent (TFS). I am working on finishing my Vicious Ophidian (VO) set.

What other sets should I farm and why?

How do you determine which set will work best for your current situation (dungeons vs trials vs MA)?

Then comes monster sets. Which Monster Sets are the best for StamDK?

I currently have Selenes completed but am trying to upgrade to Velidreth. I just need a Mask for that set. Which other sets if any should I pursue?

My final question is in regards to armor types. I'm currently using 5 M, 1L, and 1H. Was thinking of switching to 6M and 1H.

Which do you recommend, 5M,1L,1H or 6M 1H or 7M? Why?

I think your golden with all the gear sets you have farmed/are farming. As for the armor setup, I normally run 5/1/1 as well, any more medium is pure preference. I like the extra max stats to all resources but some people prefer the extra weapon damage that medium provides and will go 7 medium. Basically we can’t tell you what to run, it’s down to player preference. I just know that I prefer more health over weapon damage.

You are pretty well setup actually. As for 1/5/1 vs 0/6/1 vs all 7 medium the difference in terms of DPS is tiny. The former is better when you need to survive extra damage due to the higher health and resistance. As for monster sets Selene is not that good for Stamina DK since HA damage scales mostly on weapon damage and the extra stamina doesn't help much. It also does physical damage so it's more suited to other classes such as Templar or Warden. A good alternative is Mephala since it does poison damage. As support sets Sunderflame and Morag Tong are good.
