Hm what do you mean? I would assume doing something for fun is using something vastly different. Like some interesting proc set or some speed gear. You are just using inferior gear that offers buffs you already had. Your character wont be different than on normal build, just worse in every way.

You could put any sets together and had same results.

I would say that death from any mediocre player isn't fun.
if you are about PvE your build is totally garbage because of heavy set for DPS, because you even dont know that you have skill Critical Surge that provide the same effect as Dreugh king slayer.

Sure, run whatever you like, but why post it? If you’ve spent any time on these forums you should know what kind of response this is gonna get. Id agree that dreugh slayer is a waste since major brutality is so easily obtained on a stam sorc. Not to mention Crit Surge offer a ton of heals. So I’d find something else instead. Otherwise stack crit to your hearts content and see where it gets you. Maybe automoton instead of dreugh king? Or maybe the new unfathomable darkness set which with the proc I’ve always thought would go well with hurricane. Or unfathomable and automoton?

Oh, ok, its is for trials...

Well, I was thinking it was for PvP. My opinion for PvE differs a lot from the concept of "fun", though I recognize there's people who like it.

DKS is a garbage set, even more so on a stamina sorcerer that gets major brutality from power surge and major expedition from hurricane, both of which are essential skills. Also it's heavy meaning less weapon damage and critical (big deal on sorc) and also very bad sustain. Slimercraw is actually the only decent part of the build if you plan on doing vMA or other solo content. Playing redundant and ineffective builds is certainly not fun unless you are a masochist

Here's what I would consider fun on the said stamina Sorcerer:
5 Leviathan: Chest, Legs, Waist, Hands, Feet
5 Briarheart: 2 Daggers nirnhoned (transmuted) and precise and jewels with precise Maelstrom bow
2 Slimercraw

You will have nearly 100% crit and proc Briarheart as soon as the cooldown stops. You will self heal like crazy from surge and the procs.

I like the idea pf dreugh king slayer, even used it on a khajiit stam sorc for a time, but crit surge does the same thing as the 5 piece bonus plus a heal, so probs wouldnt use it again.

Personally, the most FUN I have is a 2h/bow build. Not BiS by any stretch, but hella fun. I use 5x TFS body, 3x agility, Stormfist (because of cool factor and yelling “OBEY THE FIST!” whenever it procs and asylum greatsword/bow.

Because it's pure garbage on any class. Weapon power potions are really cheap (about 50 gold per potion to craft or 65 to buy) and instead of Toothrow you can simply slot Camouflaged Hunter on your front bar, and have Major Savagery active for free plus a 3% weapon damage bonus from the skill line passive. For sorc you don't have that many skills to slot anyway since you rely exclusively on weapon skills - you'll need 2-3 2W skills. I'm not even sure that for the build I listed that skill would be needed since you have a lot of weapon critical:

10% by default
8% from Carnage Khajiit passive
12% from Perfect Strike CP passive
10.5% from Dexterity Medium Armor passive (each piece adds 1.5%)
10% from Twin Blade and Blunt (each dagger adds 5%)
3.5% from the precise trait on your off hand dagger
3.8% from Slimercraw 1p bonus
7.6% from Briarheart 2p and 4p bonuses
16.4% from Leviathan 3-5p bonuses

The total is 81.8% with major savagery that would be 91.8%

what is the fun, man? every second person here stressed out because of lack of good DD, healers and specially tanks for DLC vets or trials and you here joking about how to spoil more time playing with mates who use such builds? ...

Obviously this game is not my life. I enjoy playing it, and could not see myself doing something that should be enjoyable, and not enjoying it.

Perhaps rethink your approach to life or gaming, in general. If you need a hug, I will hug you!

Well the fact that you have 20+ characters across 2 accounts does strongly imply that you have invested quite a lot of time in this game. I would expect you would naturally want to translate all that effort into something of at least passable quality instead of a very weak build.

Like you, I was a Beta PC tester. I then moved that account to PS4 and still play on my PC from time to time. I enjoy playing it!

YES! Very much, but I am not a min/maxer and do not throw my controller when I am killed in Cyrodiil.

I said as a fun idea, that's all!

I will go and complain about Crown Crates,...I guess. Better yet; nerf this or that threads.

Its strange, my brother plays “for fun” by not using the recomended skills or gear but cracks the *** everytime he cant kill or complete something, so uniqueness is not equal to fun. I also play for fun, but its more fun to be able to complete content using somewhat good skills and gear.
