    I feel every time we get gold jewelry opportunites (cyrodiil vendor selling overland gold sets, gold jewelry for imperial city sets, etc) we are getting closer to the possibility of jewelry crafting (and retraiting!) would love to get my hands on some gold robust dragonguard jewelry!

    I'm a simple guy, I don't ask for much I would just like to craft my own jewellery and make my 160cp weapons grey instead of red... like a children's plastic toys r' us sword.

    I don't mind jewelry being non craftable, just like master/maelstrom/asylum are weapons only, monster sets are head and shoulder only and agility/willpower/endurance are jewelry and weapon only.
    Are they restrictive? Only if you're a glass half empty guy. I think it's fine as it is, you have to give forethought and planning into your gear instead of 5 monster proc sets and it encourages you to get into other content instead of just grinding or just crafting, there's a need for both.

    But not being able to dye your weapons? What the hell, why wasn't this added ages ago, it doesn't take months to enable dye to weapons.

    (Extra notes: you could say "yeah, but some people could completely go without ever crafting just grinded gear." Well you can tell me that when hundings/VO julianos/moondance aren't meta, two crafteables are meta. Even then if it's full grinded gear, it's gonna be purple, gotta get into crafting to improve.
    Finally, golden jewelry, the only way to get golden jewelry is golden merchant for a ridiculous amount of AP/gold and weekly leaderboards/rewards. It feels like a reward for hard work. Crafted jewelry would either include being able to improve jewelry, which will break the market and completely make useless the golden vendor/leaderboards, people only do vet dungeons for monster sets and purple jewelry, if its gear they run it on normal and improve it. People will completely give up on doing hardcore stuff just to grind for mats and improve a green ring they found in a simple chest.
    If it acts like enchanting where you don't improve it, just craft it gold, it will have the same effect as above, just craft your gold jewelry and grind normal dungeons/trials and improve your gear.)

    I don't think we'll ever have craftable jewelry, but what we can and should have is dropped jewelry for all crafted sets. That would be pretty easy for ZOS to implement.

    If we never get jewelry crafting, second best thing would be for crafted sets jewelry to be sold from golden vendor or writ voucher vendor. Just imagine golden hundings/julianos...

    Nephimana. Making jewellery crafting like rune crafting would be very nice. If every crafted set could have jewellery as well it could make the game more accessible for people that don't have the time to constantly be grinding for the right sets.

    Supposedly ZoS said that it would create OP combos, but I'm yet to see it substantiated with a link. Crafted gear isn't BiS anyway, so I'm not sure what the big deal is. I think it there should at least be bind on pick-up jewelry from the writ vendor. It would finally reward crafting.

    But at this point I feel like it's safe to say that the answer from ZoS is simply "no."

    Hist Bark + Tava's Favor = No jewelry crafting. We'd have way too many nerfs to crafted sets if jewelry crafting became a thing.

    @Colecovision The above would make permablocking more a dream than it was previously, since the major evasion would come without a stam cost or require a bar slot.

    I don't have the knowledge of the tanking sets to disagree, but even just playing devil's advocate and assuming you are wrong, this is still the perception and crafted jewelry would probably light a fire ZoS can't handle. And if you are right, it's a fire they can't put out without major nerfs. Is mark of the Pariah pretty much the same as fortified brass? Seem like we could have fortified brass jewelry if it is.

    One major gold sink is the golden merchant selling gold-level jewelry. (Sheesh that was a lot of 'gold' in one sentence.)

    If players were able to craft jewelry, then the mechanic would exist to improve jewelry as well. This would basically negate the need for the golden merchant's jewelry sales, and take a major gold/AP sink out of the game.

    That being said, I would LOVE for jewelry-crafting to become an in-game feature, but for my reasoning above, and others previously mentioned, I don't foresee the skill line being added.
