Hats and Hairstyles -- Why does my character suddenly go bald?

I wanted a fancy had to my Sorceress so I was really excited when I got the wizard hat from the Storm Atronach crates. However, I was clearly disappointed when all her beautiful platinum blonde hair disappeared with the hat equipped. Now she looks like a butter-face goth chick. Why can we not get hair under our hats? I mean, the long hair options already clip into most costumes and even some armors.

We definitely need hair under all of our hats. Some already do this, like the Feathered Bycoket Cap. The same principle can be applied to others.

They CAN make hats that don't make you bald and, for reasons that elude me, HAVE SIMPLY CHOSEN NOT TO!

Honestly, anyone who has bought the available hat should demand their money back. And we should all be demanding that they FIX HATS to SHOW HAIR. Because they clearly CAN and the hats they have out display shoddy workmanship that is entirely unacceptable. ESPECIALLY for the prices they are asking.

Sure. I've posted two threads about hats, the oldest one was closed today though. The second thread is regarding the hat my character always uses, and I'm quite tired of being bald.

I'd be very happy if her fringe was visible.

one of them gives you a misshapen head in profile, but hair seems ok.

Yes the new cowboy hats make you bald - I never wear hats but I actually quite liked that one and was incredibly disappointed that my poor character ended up bald as a result. Definitely something that needs fixing.

Depends on the hairstyle your character has - I previewed in on my character with an updo and she goes "bald" (you can see a little hair on the nape of her neck but that's it. I previewed it on my character that has the "By Kyne, it's humid" curly hairstyle, and the hair stays, although it gets a little flatter and longer. I'd recommend previewing it with different hairstyles if possible.

Still didn't buy it though.

I like the new hat, and it has like 2 different long hairstyles attached, and 2x ponytail, and a variation of short hair, dreadlocks... only hair which ever seems to work are the White river braids.. and I dont particulary like them (except on my dwarflike bosmer with his huge beard)..

well I tried the bycoket hat (which I fancied for quite a whille but are still too stingy to buy - I mean I bought quite some hats, but actually never wear them.. its like shoes in real life) in preview with the braids on a female character they didnt show
