Minimum resists for Cyrodil?

Hey guys. Super new to PVP and trying to theorycraft some builds. I'm sure it's ill advised, but I really want to make a medium armor build. That said, what sort of resists should I be shooting for in order to stay alive? Right now I'm thinking I can hit 20k phys/spell resist with buffs up. I'll also be running evasion and using 7 impen traits. Will that be enough or should I just accept my heaby armor fate? I'm planning to play a 2H/Bow StamDK if that matters.

Thanks!

Medium armor is tough for new comers. You’re gonna die a lot. I’d start out in heavy, and I think stam DK still functions better in heavy. You can also consider sets like fortified brass which offer the resists of heavy in medium. Stam DK is not the eaiest class to play well in pvp right now, in fact it may be the hardest. So hang in there. Around 20-22k resist with buff in medium is normal, also make sure you have a fair amount of crit resist, at least 2.5k.

You can also get around to try Impregnable Armor (has a 5th set bonus of 2500 crit resistance which allows you to run some pieces in reinforced or even the expensive fortified nirncrux via cyrstals which increases you physical and spell resistances per armor piece).

It comes in jewelry, medium and heavy if you plan to go 5 medium / 2 heavy or whatever ratio you prefer.

It’s a compromise in power in my opinion but if you want sustain, because my Spidey senses can feel their *rage* when you can just roll dodge 4times in a row and still have stamina in the tank; but check out Bone Pirate with Impregnable Armor combined.
