Question about Validreth - Would you say the way things stand right now is this more a helm for PVP for Stam builds? I don't see it much in posted builds anymore. The reason I asked is I helped a memeber in one my PVE guilds run COS for it last night. He says he will using it for PVP though.

I haven't PvP'd much with my Stamblade in a while so i can't speak for that but she's using Velidreth helm and shoulder in PvE and it's great.

It's a good option for PvE. However, I've seen Selene used on Stam toons for PvE dungeons then I have anything else.

PvP Selene's is better.

Veli is good in PvE.
In PvP I never get hit by it, and I'm not even very good. Selene is a little better but even that I rarely get hit by. Worst case scenario I block it.

In PvP I don't think stam has many good monster damage proc options. The defense/healing ones are way better. Use those and use your other sets for damage.

I am thinking with a Stamplar Valkyn and Blood Spawn would be a better choice. Thanks all!!

Ah yes...I am finally leveling a Stamblade and I was thinking of using Selene's.

I would recommend it if not for anything else than the fun factor.

Playing stamblade with Selene's is dramatically more fun than playing it without, IMHO. The set works great with the playstyle, and watching it proc on an unsuspecting victim is truly rewarding.
