Two questions....

* Where is the better location to start PvE arena battles for a level 35 or so character? A place where the poor boy has a chance....

* Litany of Blood...is there any indication of whether you are doing it right? If you don't know what this is...just pretend you never saw this....

Not quite sure what you mean by the first question. You mean world bosses?

As for the second, if you killed the correct target, they'll dramatically explode into a pile of ash. If they just flop over dead, that's not the right one.

1. If your talking Battlefields, then you need Morrowind and to go there and you will find a quest NPC in Vivec City (near the Vivec City WS, not the big Cantons)
2. The LoB Targets have a really weird eye on them. Hard to describe, but once you see it, you will understand. And, they follow a path, so you might find them at the beginning or end of the path, so keep looking around. Also, if someone killed one just before you, it can take a bit before it spawns again. Although not sure if that is an issue this far past launch.

Just looking for arenas like I've seen here and there...where you go in and fight PvE. There is one in Craglorn...but I figure it is higher level. Guess there is one in Kavatch too. Looking for an easier one to start out with.

So far no exploding people or weird eyes. I'll have to keep looking...

Ohhh I see. Got it.

So. The one in Craglorn, Dragonstar Arena, is a 4 man trial. You don't want to go in there without a group, and I'd recommend not going in there at all until you're more familiar with the game - Normal is pretty easy compared to Veteran, but it'd still be difficult assuming this is your first character who you don't really have figured out yet.

The one in Kvatch is a world boss that just happens to be in an arena. The skull and crossbones icon means you should probably find other players. The waves of enemies on that one aren't really solo friendly.

Each full-sized vanilla alliance zone, Coldharbour and the larger DLC zones - Wrothgar and Vvardenfell specifically - have six world bosses. The smaller DLC zones have two. Some are notoriously hard, like Bittergreen the Wild (guar) in Deshaan. Others are significantly easier, like Sharpfang (troll) in the same zone. Still recommend a group for those, especially at level 35, but the easier ones you should be able to do with 2 or 3 people.

There're just 2 things actually called "arenas", one is Dragonstar Arena in Craglorn, kind of like a 4 man Trial, pretty fun really, the other one is Malestrom arena in Wrothgar, like a solo trial. Given you're getting scaled you may actually be able to complete it, I'd say give it a try, can be a fun challenge Just don't accidentally tick "veteran" MA or DSA difficulty after hitting 50 lol. Believe me you don't want THAT any time soon XD

True in the sense of the classification of arenas/group dungeons/public dungeons/trials but for a level 35 character I think Thizrinni Arena is probably just about right.

Litany targets burn like vampires in movies when you kill them so you will know if you have the right target

You will know when you kill one of the litany of blood targets. I killed one before I ever started the quest and was wondering why they kinda vaporized and no one else that I ever woed did.

When you kill Litany of Blood targets, there will be a kinda red flash. Your achievement log for Litany of Blood should also update - there is only one in each zone. If/when you return to the Assassin Guild den, there will be new red ghost occupying another pedestal.

PS: if you are referring to actual Battlegrounds, these are only available in Vvardenfell and you have to queue, kinda like for PvP. The Battleground you go into is random, there is no choice as to which you will go into.
