Werewolves and Vampires

A few points on this subject. Having come back from a break and seeing all the new changes and wonderful things added, I notice one thing. There's nothing there for Vampires or Werewolves.

There's no special housing items, no titles, no costumes/masks, no new quests, no special areas for them gather... From a pure PvE and RPG perspective it seems a little lacklustre.

I think with Guild and personal Housing it would be good to see some lore friendly decorations and styles for the undead. Blackout curtains, bloody goblets, gargoyles.

What's your opinion on Werewolves and Vampires in Tamriel? What would you like to see added, if anything?

We have gargoyles. I have some sitting on top of the vampire crypt that I built. But I would like to see a lot more for vamps and werewolves, especially costumes.

Curious does hircune Shire you can buy allow you to stay in werewolf form in house. Anyone every try?

For housing, I would like to see a graveyard Castle of Darkness with corpses display like an ancient war of the past with lore to it. Of the battle of Legend the Dawn of the Werewolves and the Rise of the Vampires in Tamriel in a very nice Quest in a DLC mini-chapter.

How about a Daily/Weekly quest? Something to allow those with the curse to collect special items or gear?

ZOS is really dropping the ball when it comes to vampire/werewolf stuff. be cool to have a whole dlc chapter focusing on
werewolves & vampires.

There are also coffins for vampires (from the Rivenspire Achievement Furnisher, IIRC). I also know there are 2 furnishings from the Global Achievement Furnisher, which you can only buy if you have maxed the Vamp/WW skill line, but I forgot what that was.

A vamp lord costume, some ability changing effects like the warden bear but for WWs to get armours and/or different species(werebear, werecroc, werelion, etc)

All this and more in my dreams!

vamps/ww were an afterthought by zo$, hence the lack of integration with npcs, lack of development, lack of bug fixes and general lack in interest from them.

All of my characters are, or will eventually be, vampires (maybe one Werewolf), so yeah I'm with you on this one. I wish they'd flesh out both, new costumes, houses, mounts, skills even

Would be nice to have some more vampire specific content and items though and I still need to come up with something for my werewolves home.
My healer is a vampire only because it works well in PvP so for her it doesn't matter. My other vampire wears Soul Shriven armor but he would switch to lore friendly vampire attire in a heartbeat (his is in the coffin) if he could.

I am sure someone has pointed out there are home decos for vamps and WWs. I think the vendor is in the capital city for each zone.

Would a banner & costume of what Covenant or Clan you are a part of Werewolves and Vampires be more interesting to the organization to whom you are tied to?

Not really an afterthought. They were originally supposed to be an endgame upgrade, rather than something you played the bulk of the game with. So, quests were originally written from the perspective that you wouldn't be one until much later. For example Glenumbra.

The Silver and Gold rotation was added in after that, opening the possibility you could be running low level zones while you were one of those monsters, but rerecording dialog is expensive. There's been a lot more attention paid to werewolves and vampires since then, with some NPCs flat out stating that they don't care if you're a monster, so long as you're not evil. It's still a cop out, but still.

It would be fantastic if there were more cosmetic options available for werewolves and vampires. Right now, all you get is four dyes. New Titles, furniture items, costumes, those would all be really cool, and appreciated.

what is this? Twilight? Werewolves and Vampires are a relatively minor sub-plot in the Elder Scrolls universe and has always been just a disease, and people suffering from them have always been treated similar to lepers.

Either this is fools stuck in a twilight or other fantasy world, or its people who think bc some or all of their characters are vampires or werewolves, that it makes them special in some way.

Fact is im the ES universe, they are outcasts. Hunted.

Just bc in eso these options are popular and the majority doesn't change anything.

I'd love a weekly or daily Vampire based quest with a mini storyline that leads up to it.

I don't know what the general feeling is but obviously you have Skyrim with the Companions and Volkihar vampires, I'm not clued up massively with the lore but I think the jist is Volkihar = Molag bal good, whilst Lamae is Molag bal bad.

I think two separate quest trees for werewolves to do the companion stuff and Vampires to do some kinda of Vampire clan war type of thing would be pretty cool.

Perhaps some costumes and a dungeon could be done?

The vampire armor from Skyrim is just sitting there! Likewise with the master vampire armor.

Obviously make it somewhat different to Skyrim, but it does provide a good benchmark on the type of experience folk might want.

I would like a special item, maybe a pair of gloves, that overcomes my clumsiness when crafting in WW form.

I disagree! I think play an important part in certain parts of the lore and previous games. Even Skyrim had an entire DLC dedicated to them.

No matter the opinion the fact remains that they are apart of ESO. It affects your build, there are quests and you can buy the curse. That in itself is enough to warrant more than what is already available to those who are Werewolves and Vampires. They are as much a part of ESO as any other race.

There's a shrine and a statue of hircine, would love more stuff tho, especially for vampire's, I want a thrall I can feed on in my house! A female one of course.

And vampire/were hunters for the rest of us. Make a PvP element where we fight each other.

Sadly, that statue and the banner of Hircine were locked in crates. I would have bought them outright in a heartbeat. The Primal Altar of Hircine achievement award is amazing though. This is the one we have at our Domus

Good to see you back Cazzy . There is a Hircine statue for werewolves I think too . A lot of Bosmer skins can make werewolf deco . Some Argonian furniture fits that theme too . Everyone already posted a lot of the good vampire style deco .
