Only in ESO would ZoS create an event around a broken feature in their game...a feature that has been broken since I started playing in October 2016.

I wag my finger at your ZOS. Seriously wtf?

Yeah Activity finder. The whole group up 25 times before you actually group up glitch.

But damn since 2014 has ZOS never heard of a quality of life update? I love signing into my account at 1:00am with the tv volume on just a bit trying to level my horses.

Then my family gets awoken by some teenager screaming expletives in area/guild chat because ZOS doesn't realize not everyone wants to immediately just into area chat or guild chat. Since october 2016 same common sense bugs not fixed.

They just aren't concerned. Thanks zos my family really likes you.

Isn't the event over? Seems late to the party if just now complaining about the design of the event. No offense.

What if I told you this event was all just a mega stress test for the group finder tool and they added rewards so everyone would participate.

It worked for most part, but did not work during peak hours. What seemed like over captivity limit was hit, because if you keep trying you eventually did get in.

I can agree that the dungeon finder needs a few fixes. I'm hoping that ZoS uses the information they gained from this event to fix said dungeon finder.

However, while the dungeon finder has some issues, it's not terrible by any means. I actually rarely have issues with it prior to the event.

Not perfect, but it's not really that bad. Worst case scenario you requeue after a bit and that fixes that bug. Only other bug I'm aware of is the failure to join the group and getting placed back into the finder then having queue pop again, and that one I have never seen up until this event.

So Tl;dr, dungeon finder isn't that bad, but ZoS should still refine it, polish is always nice.

TLDR: Zos should feature events around functional parts of the game or make their game functional?

Surprisingly, i didn't have that problem at all during this event and the most i ever waited (as a DPS) was 7 minutes.

Guess i just got lucky for once ...

Nah. Them freaking out would mean they care. Their actions say otherwise.

Yea, surprisingly this wasn't widespread though. I was fortunate not to have this issue during the event. A buddy of mine ran into it only one night, and nobody else I regularly play with came across it either.

It depended heavily on what time you ran. If you ran in the prime-time peak hours (about 7pm EST to 10pm EST), you would most likely run into the Random Dungeon Finder bugs.

Group finder actually worked ok for me.
30 something runs and only got the reoccurring 'someone declined' error once. I didn't get any instance full bugs and I only had one queue longer than 15 minutes (healers and tanks popped within a minute or 2).

I mostly play in Australian peak time, so the server population isn't at peak. This probably helps not to overload the group finder.

Anyway, group finder definitely has issues and the sooner they are fixed the better. But at least me for, it's doing better than it has previously.
