if the target is actually cc imune its grey.
read the patch notes plz...
it saves u for spending mana on a skill which wont stun the enemy. its the same for the new sorc stun

i agree that this skill does not work sometimes, I was in a duel tournament in my guild and another magdk and I were dueling, fossilize would NOT work on him, after the tournament me and a few other people that were magDK's tested it out, for some reason 2 out of the 3 of us could NOT fossilize him ( he was NOT using immovable pots nor did he have gear that gave him CC immunity ) only 1 of my friends was able to use fossilize against him

cc imunity is not from gear
its a dimishing return. for example if u brake the sphere of a templar u gain cc imunity for a period of time.
i didnt test it myself but i admit it works as intended, same with the new sorc stun.

Lel no it wasn't. Fear and rune is this but stronger. Magdk has no functioning counter against ranged since wings/chains are bugged af.
I'm not gonna say fear isn't really good but to compare fossilize to it is kinda funny. Fossilize has two CCs the hard stun cc you need to break, then the soft root cc you need to break. And most good dueling magdk follow it up with talons yet another cc. There goes all your stam as a mag player or you just sit in there spaming shields until you can get your own cc and recover.
And as far as wings being bugged I'm not sure about that, my buddy uses then in duels and has never said a thing
Chain in the other hand always seems bugged like crit rush and shadow image. They can't ever get those right for long

But it wasn't Foss the one that get the treatment, it was Petrify, which is the base skill.
Now explain me, why Shattering Rocks did receive that nerf? It doesn't apply a soft CC, so why did they decrease its range too?
Listen some of you guys come on people's thread trying to tell someone the skill is "working as intended" or I haven't experienced these issues, it's absolutely annoying. If someone writes a thread stating they're having problems THEN THEY ARE! Don't assume everything works for all. And this whole reading B.S. crame it, why have a skill that greys out when facing your enemy and doesn't work? I haven't played any other toon that faces that!

Foss's secondary cc is a root, is the same as talons, its not "another CC." (also assuming no FM/shuffle) So running foss is near useless now. Prior the root was useful since it was 15m, unlike 6m talons. Fear, by design also has a marginally longer time since you can't break it until the running animation, it affects 2 targets, and maims. (Talons morph maims, but the dot is too good to sacrifice.)
Wings takes status effects from things like snipe/flare (defile) or the dot from clench. There was also a thread recently about it not refreshing on recast.
