Crown Crates returning - but no shop?

so I assume we can't also buy the wild hunt and storm attronach rewards in the crown store with gems - only gambling? Thats hugly disappointing to be honest...

No, you can only buy flame atronach stuff with gems. They did point that out, at least, but it's disappointing nonetheless.

Hugely disappointing and the reason why I personally will not be buying these re-issued crates even though I missed both seasons. So instead of ZOS getting some of my money, they get none.

There are some Superior/Epic rewards in both the Storm Atro / Wild hunt crates that I would be interested in acquiring either through luck OR gems. But I'm not about to do the whole "Radiant Apex" gamble for low-tier items, yeah these get a pass from me.

So if we can’t use gems what happens when we get duplicates of an item from these crates that are from previous seasons?

I think it's because they did not intend to return these crates and it's not currently implemented to support multiple seasons at once. At least, that's what I got out of "currently".

maybe the same as from the super mystery box event where you get nothing. they just dont SHOW you that you got the duplicate. *open crate* *get 3 items instead of 4 or 5* *rage*

You’ll still get gems from duplicates ... but you can only buy Flame Atronach season items with earned gems.

This would be a new level of sleaziness of ZOS did this to their player base.

Yeah, I was hoping that I could buy some nice pet for them. I'm disappointed, but I guess it's normal reaction to Zeni's choices.
