Would be nice of they made it so you can see both weapons being carried on your character at the same time like a bow and sword.

RobbieRocket✭✭✭I'm all up for having all the weapons/shield a character has visible. it is quite silly swapping between my 1H&S and Resto Staff and having both a shield the size of small Orc and a staff the length of a tall Orc disappear into my character's torso.0

Not sure if this is still the case, but try casting Crystal Shards with Dual Wield swords. I recall having my swords put on my back when I did this a long time ago as a PvPer.1 -

I don’t think u could carry dual swords crossed on ur back in DAoC. The most similar was the shadowblade carrying any sword (1h or 2h) on its back with a throwing knife at the same time. If he was wearing a cloak it seemed like dual swords, but one was a knife.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Heh, makes me wishg the whole gear system was set up a little different... with weapons being equipped to "sheath slots" then then drawn into your hands from there...(like, left hip, right boot and right shoulder goes to right hand, right hip, left boot and left shoulder goes to left hand... shield, staff, bow and 2H can only be equipped in shoulder slots...) and then let people slot both their weapon selections as they please... having both visible (and yes, that would make some combinations a bit... iffy...)1 -

I don't remember which midgard class I played, been a loooong time ago, but he definitely ran around with dual swords crossed on his back, because I thought that was the coolest *** I'd ever seen in an MMO at that point. I want to say I made that character specifically because I saw another one with dual blades on his back.0 -

Haha same here... I rolled a Midgard shadowblade just because it looked badass with the dual weapons on its back. But one of them was a throwing knife... still there were some long throwing knives that looks like short swords. I played DAoC earlier this year for a few months... just for the nostalgia trip... worth it!0 -

Drawing your weapons from the back has historically been a horrible idea and is physically impossible for most humans unless you're drawing a short sword. There has also never been one handed swords sheathed on the back in an elder scrolls game to my knowledge.
I guess it wouldn't hurt anything, but I'm still against it. Everytime someone asks for this in any game, it makes me think they just got done watching sword art online and want to be kirito or something.0 -

✭Have you ever tried drawing a sword from your back? I am 6'3" and I have a lot of difficulty drawing even a 3' sword if its strapped to my back...there is a reason a baldric(a sheath hanging from one shoulder across the body) is the best setup for drawing a sword. The ONLY time you carry a sword on your back is if the blade is so long that not doing so would drag on the ground like a claymore or other massive 2 hander. In that situation you slip the sheath off your back before even drawing the blade anyway. Its why I laugh every time I watch someone play The Witcher...having that one-hander there, you would have to have disproportionately long arms to draw a one hander from your back.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭The issue is it would be more complicated to have one type of DW weapon sheath on the back while others sheath on the sides. It would look rather odd to have daggers sheath on the back.
So it comes down to that. It is simpler coding to have all weapons of the same type act in the same manner.0 -

my chars run around since the beta without going to pee or taking any shower, first with morrowind we became a bathtube............
and my WoW char are able to do it, not with all swords, but with certain types, yes
so please make it possible @ZOS0
