Tips for higher FPS?

6700k, 1070gtx, all works on ultra in 60 fps, eso 60-10 fps depending on situation. Assembly General execute phase - drops to 11-15 Fps.

I know all the problems with ESO as 1 core, etc (max gpu usage is near 20%, max memory 40%, max cpu 40% with chrome music tabs in background and lower without them).

I am also using Votan's Adaptive settings and Shissu's AvA booster for all zones. My general texture settings are High, shadows Medium (was High, 0 difference). AA on (was off, 0 difference), Vert.S off.

AND i still get those numbers in heavy fights. May be there is smth else i can try/do, tips, advices? Thank you.

I dont think there is anything you can do. On my laptop I tried medium to ultra and almost no difference in performance, fps still take the plunge in some situations such as big cities with many ppl or Hel Ra Citadel.

Now playing with ultra (except medium shadows), all effects on, vsync on, half visibility and particle effects.
Best visuals/performance ratio for me, but still dips in situations described above

Try turning particles and view distance down. Those two settings have a huge impact on my system.

Both Votan's and Shissu's addon do that even below in-game minimum

Turn off the v-sync. Makes your FPS go beyond 60 - 70 (depending on your screens refresh-rate).

Tune shadow, texture, particle, view distance down. Keep in mind that tuning particle down will cause that sometimes you wont see bosses/mobs effects clearly.

A GTX 1070 isn't a bad card.
I'm running a GTX980 with I7 3770K @4.5Ghz, and I have none of the isues the OP talks of.
I do run 1080P; not the fancier 1440 or "4K".

delete your shader cache file, let it rebuild.

OP if you get only 20%GPU usage on your 1070 you are doing something wrong , my GTX 1080ti OC to 1950 mhz is above 80% all the time ( if i use shaders i can get constantly 100% usage ) this is at 4k ultra , the point of the modern GPUs is to squeeze every drop of performance you can get from it.
My CPU is i7740x @4.7ghz and it can handle populated cities and trials at 40 fps+.

or buy an xbox 1 x and an SSD . - no frame drop whatsoever.
