Dye stamps “Can’t use at this time,”

I haven’t bought dyes for years, but was going to use the ones dropping from mystery crates. However, all of the dyes say “can’t use at this time.” I seem to remember this happening with dyes I bought in the past. Why is this still an issue? I remember having to do something specific to get the dyes to activate in my inventory, but can’t find the thread. It would be nice if dyes really were as simple as “use the item in your inventory” instead of a mad internet search to figure out why ai can’t use them.

Found the aswer: turn off addons. Not sure which of my addons blocks dye use but this is ridiculous.

Thank you, I was also affected by this issue, and it was bugging the *** out of me.
FYI, you just need to turn off "out of date" addons.

Heck I would just like the option to sell the darn things. Why are they bound to ones account anyways. Have no use for the ones I have got in the Mystery Boxes.

Yeah, these and the treasure map drops from these mystery crates are the most useless and ridiculous drops.
Why do we have another RNG item drop from an RNG item?

Most people delete treasure maps after a while because they're so tedious to run all over since they do not stack in inventory so you can only have 2 of any one map and they only have crap drops anyway.
All people also only want dyes they like, so they don't like a random grab bag and only buy them in specific combos from the crown store, if at all. So, why do they drop random crap dyes from these mystery boxes and not at least special dyes with unique crown store only colors?

No clue why the dyes check for out of date addons before you can use them either. That's just moron programmer code. Whoever put that in there better hide their tracks. I would fire that programmer no matter how high up their rank. That's high school novice level stupidity.

Unfortunately, I need to turn off ALL addons. Which really sucks.
