Is this a no-no or is it workable.

MagDK, MagSorc, MagTempl. - all my toons are Magk orientated. My ? is this.

48+ Mg | 5 He | 5 St (I think its 48 :p)

Is this doable or sucky?

Up to you and how you play I guess, but if you want extra health and stamina then you are better off using tri-glyphs on armour before changing your skill points (if you don't mind spending a little gold).

Unless things have changed this would give you 50% H/M/S vs. 100% of just one stat. For example a tri-glyph on a large piece would give 434 Stam, 434 Magic & 477 Health, rather than a single resource glyph of 868 for Magic, with no increase to S or H.

    Hope that makes sense :)

Thanks mate - yes it does. In your opinion are Stam builds better? Or is it really just a play style thing?

@JAwtunes is correct. It's really up to you.

The more in magicka the lower your damage. The more in health will theoretically in resss your survival theoretically because the faster X dies the less damage you take.

If your using witchmothers brew the. I'd suggest either some points in health or a health enchant or two since that food offers less health.

If your just goofing off and having fun all is good as long as you enjoy it. If raiding vet trials the. The choice is going for max damage.
