Guild bank,ruined.

Will the guild bank ever be fixed? Most of my members cannot see the contents,and I do not want to give permissions to everyone. Can you just add a "See guild contents" tab instead of doing away completely with it? I used to store items in there for my guild to be able ask for if they needed it(Diagrams,Blueprints,Craft mats they may need).... now they just have a blank bank and it has really put a damper things.

I also think that the guild members need to be able to see items in the guild bank even if they can't pull them out themselves. for our trading guild, we rely on donations for the weekly auctions, and since the guild members can't see what we need for our lots, they are less likely to donate for them. I try to help, between myself, another officer and one of our guild masters. We try to let people know what's needed, but it's not always easy to get people the information they need. I can understand not being able to see the money in the guild, but the items are an entirely different story.

What kills me is that there is a "View guild gold" option,but not an option for the items. They are no use to anyone if they aren't able to look and see what they may need from the bank. A lot of leaders don't want to get drained by new members,but,at the same time would like to help new members where they see fit.

That is really a shame. It would be nice to atleast have an option in ranks to allow others to view items that are stored.

The flip side of this is being able to see what is reasonable to deposit...

So you either guess and load up the 500 slots guild bank quickly with potentially unneeded crap, or you have to bug officers anyway to ask if these items are needed.

If a guild doesn't want people taking things, that's what the message of the day / guild info tab is for.

While it is probably just a little melodramatic to suggest the guild bank is ruined, Zos should separate out the controls for viewing the bank and being able to withdraw and deposit.

They need to intend for it to work differently. We need the ability to let members see items to request, even if we prevent them from withdrawing. We need people to be able to verify their own gold deposits in the history, even if we block them from seeing the gold balance.

These changes have made it even more difficult to run a guild effectively.

Well,not completely ruined for everyone,but it ruined it for my guild atleast. I had it set up where only ranking members can withdraw whatever they like. I just hope they can work a way around the issue.I would love for my new members to be able to atleast see what we have,without having freewill over the inventory.

You must be mis-remembering. I refuse to think so lowly of Gina, Jessica, or of ZOS in general as to think this is as intended. It has to be a bug. No one is dumb enough to do this on purpose. Not one person.

I can get pretty down on some of ZOS's bad decisions, but I refuse to think they're stupid. This has to be a bug.

It's not a bug, it was a counter update to the exploit that new accounts used when getting invited to a guild during the first few days of a new dlc / expansion was able to withdraw anything they wanted including gold from bank and items as if they were the GM

Well,that makes sence...but atleast fix that exploit and not do completely away with members being able to see what is in their own guild bank...

Guild system needs a desperate remodel... there's more then trade guilds out there >.>.

Is there not an add-on where you can allow additional layers of permissions...like only green items, etc...so you can add all guildies to the base layer but still protect your inventory...
