#1: Would there be any use for a companion app for ESO from Zenimax/Bethesda?

#2 Would you play an Elder Scrolls Hack n' Slash top down rpg (think Diablo and Titan Quest) on your phone along/over the card game "Legends"

Thoughts? Ideas? Sound off below!

Would be nice, but won’t happen because we have an overpriced banker NPC on sale in the Crown Store.

#1. no. because as it is people spend far too much time on their phone instead of doing things like their job. yes, iv had to deal with these people at work. and likely you've had them at your dinner table and other places.

#2 not my bag baby. but no objections to that. as long as its seperate to eso

They won’t open their servers for that. Too much security issues, and the architecture probably has never been built with something like that in mind.

Yeah I'm pretty confused on what would even be on the app since I don't see inventory management being a feature due to the reason Matt stated. What else would even be useful or wanted? There are so many ways they could've made things like inventory management and mount training easier for us by now and they haven't yet so I'm skeptical of an ESO app providing any kind of useful service that will actually save me time.

its pretty good actually. how is it not my business if the people im working with are farting around on their phones instead of working, meaning i need to do more? and if you like having meals with everyone staring at their phones, thats upto you. personally i find it very rude when you go out socially and everyones too busy with their phone to actually be social. (and no, i dont go out with those people any more, i have other friends who arent rude like that)

I know plenty of people who know better than to play with their phones while they should be working or if they are in a social situation.
The phone is the new game-boy. hence my question about another ES game on handheld devices

No one is suggesting playing ESO on the phone/tablet. Maybe see about that for the switch.
An ESO companion app would be linked to your account and would allow you to do things that you would either be unable to do at the moment OR did not feel like logging back on just to do one thing or two.
Example: You're at work and your research finishes. You get a notification and you can start the next one.
Maybe be able to do all your crafting needs from an app while away (besides actually farming the materials)

doubt it but does he care if his employee's are?
i'v worked with people who would play games (candy crush for example) at work alot, and the frustration of getting them to do their part isn't lost on me

What’s that got to do with the rest of us? The impression I got is that he believes that this app shouldn’t be created because he believes that people spend too much time on their phones. Who the hell is he to make that judgement about me or anyone else?
So just because he believes his friends and work mates spend too much time on their phones, the rest of us shouldn’t have this app?

I totally agree, an app like this would save tons of alt loading times, of course it should be made if it's possible, an eso app won't change the phone situation at all.

In saying this, would you want your phone in a "never ending load screen"?
