    Yes all but Weredaedroths

Okay, seriously, is there a basis for the Weredaedroth?

Actually, there has been a storied account of one single weredaedroth hand crafted by Hircine himself to challenge Sheogorath. Sheo just used a tiny, impossible to hit little bird that ran around the droth's body making it kill itself and winning the bet. (Accounts of Madness is the lore book series iirc)

The other seven are confirmed, BUT weresharks are exceedingly rare and up for scholarly debate.

I'd like to see the Devs put "combat pet skins" into the crown store. Make your clanfear a fire atro clanfear or blood root style one, changing nothing but the appearance (think the orange vs grey warden bear). In that category, we can add werewolf skins. This also gives incentive for zos to make them, and make them look awesome.

@DocFrost72, Weresharks and Werecrocodiles are up for debate. As I mentioned posts ago, they both exist in Tamriel's folklore, but they're so rare they may be mythical. (The bit about the werecrocodiles being that rare comes from one of the novels, if you're wondering.)

@starkerealm I agree with everything you posted, I perhaps should have phrased it better. The OG post has eight varieties of lycanthrope, all of which appear in elder scrolls lore. What I meant to say is, those eight are mentioned, and therefor having them exist wouldn't be out of the question. If someone had said werepony, werepheonix, or werewelwa, however, they have no basis in TES as of yet.

I'm on the fence aboot sharks, because all I know referring them to exist comes from a book where a scholar says he has never encountered nor found someone who encountered the beast firsthand. But yes, both sharks and crocs are intensely rare: most likely due to their biome of inhabitance in both cases being prone to certain...natural dangers. The swamps of Argonia and the open seas are not safe research environments even before adding lycans!

Yeah, I'm with you on the sharks. If they are real, I kinda expect the payoff won't happen until we get a single player game with a heavy naval theme. I suppose they might pop up when dealing with the Maomer. If they're not native to Tamriel, but to a different continent, it would make a lot of sense.

    Yes all of them
It's also possible some of these are highly secretive.

There's a book in Skyrim (the game) about someone visiting Skyrim (the province) for the express purpose of seeking out werewolves. He travels all over, talks to the Companions amongst others to find out about sightings and eventually goes home without ever seeing a werewolf or even finding a reliable first-hand report and concludes that if they do exist in Skyrim they're extremely rare and must be isolated individuals in the most remote areas.

The joke of course is that he encountered numerous werewolves during his trip, but none were in their beast form and none were about to own up to being werewolves.

(There's a similar book about a vampire hunter in Cyrodiil, except he doesn't get to go home at the end.)

Maybe weresharks, werecrocodiles etc. are just more secretive and more careful about not getting caught. For the sharks it would be quite easy - all they need to do is sail out into deep water (or remote reefs) before transforming and no one would ever know. There could be entire ships crewed by weresharks - they head out of port, over the horizon, spend a few days transformed (maybe taking turns so someone is manning the ship), change back before they reach their destination and do the whole thing again on their next voyage.

I would prefer a more racial based WW approach, especially aesthetically, a cat or lizard turning into a dog seems a little silly, have a weresenche and werewamasu

    Yes to Werebear and Wereboar.

Especially Wereboar, which the PC could become in Daggerfall.

Werecrocodile is intriguing, I have to admit.

Definitely Werebear and Wereboar. Possibly WereCroc for our Argonian friends. Maybe Werelion for Khajiits. I don't think we need Werebats or Sharks... We don't need any of this stuff but I think Bear, Boar, Croc, and Lion would be fun.

Ideally each were-critter would function a little differently from the next.

Ideally also there would be a proper Dawnguard guild to hunt down these and other abominations in Tamriel. =) (either that or make fighters guild better / more interesting)... I think a new guild is in order that is mutually exclusive to monstrosity.

The Lore friendly canon ones for now. Maybe make their forms available in the crownstore or in future DLCs.
    Were-Crocodiles, Were-Boars, Were-Bears, and Were-Lion
Were-Bat is actually an enemy in ESO but they serve along vampires possibly indicating that they were created by Molag Bal.
WereShark is tricky because honestly I would expect some underwater mechanics added. They are fish.

Fun Fact: Werebeasts are actually daedric abominations and not "Half-man & Half-beast" they are really just beasts that can walk upright like men.
Hence why if an Argonian is a werewolf, their lycanthrope form does not share any traits with them like scales, feathers, and/or horns. The afflicted is taking on the form of a daedric creature.

I have to agree. Were-Sharks would have very different mechanics from Were-Wolves and would be more viable in an environment with lots of viable open water
