Returning player from beta - lost on what dlc to purchase to catch up again

I only played briefly during the beta then quit, but I'd like to get back into this game. There's so much DLC now, how should I go about purchasing it all? I see there are sales right now, 50% off of all the DLC right?

Easiest would be for you to pay for a one month Subscription. You'll get 1,500 Crowns, a Crafting bag to fill up, double the amount of Housing space, but most importantly for you I think, full access to all DLCs for that subscription month.

That way you can jump in on the DLCs and check them out yourself before deciding which to purchase.

If you plan to play with a subscription (ESO+) then don't buy any as you'll get access to it all via the sub.

If you plan to play under B2P model I would say buy each DLC as you want to play it. Although you might be able to buy a stack of content on sale (if it is on sale) you might find you don't enjoy the game a month from now and leave again meaning you spent all that money you didn't need to.

Personally I would go with ESO+ as you can pay for one month sub, get all the perks (crafting bag is a big one) and then try each DLC as it strikes your fancy. If you find you like it all after a month either keep the sub up, switch it to a longer billing period of buy DLC and drop the sub.

Also FYI Morrowind is an Expansion not a DLC. They doesn't come with ESO+ and must be purchased alone.

I would also recommend the one month subscription to try them out. If you don't think you will keep ESO+ I would buy Orsinium now while it is on sale. It is the largest DLC and very good zone.

Morrowind is the only content you cannot buy with crowns or access with ESO+. It requires the digital upgrade which is currently 50% off.

I am not at my computer to check but there is a DLC bundle in crown store for the first four DLC releases. I am not sure if it is discounted currently.

I would probably suggest giving it a week. If you left early before you might leave again. Give the game a chance for a week.

If you find yourself getting hooked give Eso + a look. You get access to all DLC (excluding Clockwork) plus, 1500 crowns per month, and best of all, the craft bag.

EDIT- you could also take a look at the gold package, giving you the first 4 dlcs, if you decide you don't want eso plus, but still want the dlc's.

Orsinium is the best DLC they've made, in my opinion, and it's on sale right now.

I agree with one of the other posters in that subscriptions are a good way to go, so you can play all the DLCs with the price of the sub, plus get the crafting bag and double bank space, and a small (tiny) amount of crowns to spend.
