yeah 1 point doesn't seem much. However it means it's sth that exclusive to new characters
If this problem is not properly addressed I wouldn't be suprise if ZOS go on "this this and that will be new character exclusive since majority didn't care anyway"
Fixing this problem should be easy on ZOS side and they haven't done it in months says sth
Funny how people still dwell on this... it's an incentive for players to create new characters and thus spend more time in the game; the more hours put in, the more chances people will buy from the Crown Store. In-genius marketing strategy. I have no doubt the next Chapter will introduce yet another 'starter' quest awarding a skill point, but you won't have the option to do Morrowind starter quest anymore with the new character, so basically all 'new' characters post-Morrowind will have just that one extra point.

There are far more pressing matters. It’s one skill point.

Lois McMaster Bujold "A Civil Campaign"Reputation is what other people know about you. Honor is what you know about yourself. Guard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the ***
is this even a thing at all? becasue having done both intro's on a new character - the morrowind firs,t followed by the benefactor.. I honestly don't remember getting an extra skill point from coldharbour intro. the cinematic is back which is awesome, but extra skill points? no.
P.S. I love having all the skillpoints we get nowadays. allows for some build experimentation without full respec and you are not as starved if you want your character to be a crafter.

the benefactor one, aka vanilla start quest, does give an extra point
And since old characters created before morrowind can't do the morrowind starting quest, all old characters miss a skill point

It's just 1 skill point.
I understand why people get frustrated at this but seriously, I have like 40 skill points unused and I'm at max cp with pretty much everything unlocked except the weapon skills I do not use.
