vMA question... Bug or not a bug

During this Wrothgar festival I've been hammering vMA several times a day and noticing something that can either be explained as a mechanic or as a bug.. Its regarding Spectral Explosion and it seems to only happen when an Ogrim appears. I can have three golden ghosts collected and the option to use Spectral Explosion but as soon as an Ogrim appears then i lose the option to use it and only get it back if i collect another golden ghost.. is this intended? and sometimes (although not everytime) Spectral Explosion does not carry through from one round to the next when staying alive.. sometimes it does and sometimes it does not.. its strange..

And also @ZOS_GinaBruno can you ask the devs to look at remapping Spectral Explosion on xbox buttons, its a pita going to pick up a sigils synergy and proc'ing Spectral Explosion 100% of the time instead of the sigil... why do they have to use the same buttons?

I can't speak for the ogrim problem - that isn't anything I've observed, though - but Spectral Explosion has a timer, something like 15 seconds, but if you grab another ghost in that period it adds a bit of time (like 5). You're not supposed to hold onto the explosion forever, you have to time it well to get the proc in one round and use it on the next (otherwise everyone would bomb Voriak Solkyn). If you mean that the buff isn't running out but instead just flat-out clearing between rounds, I don't think that should be happening.

where do i know your name from? are you an old Street Fighter player? or KoL maybe? maybe even IRC?
that seems like a distinctive way to spell those sounds and seems so familiar to me

When you collect three ghosts - open your character menu and check buffs... you will see that spectral explosion has a time limit for usage...

Its a pretty recent gt actually (xbox), i used to play Destiny a lot and my pvp weapons of choice were Thorn and Fellwinters (both op and got nerfed heavily after a lengthy reign)... one particular player used to get really salty with his messages to me calling me scrub and such like.. eventually he sent a message saying that i was not just a scrub but i was a "super scrub" i kinda like it and changed my gt just so i could message him back and say thanks for the new name..
