Item Style change with Transmutation Stones?

Me and many other players already sit at the 200/200 transmutation stone cap and wait for the next updates to come to use them again.

Im sure this concept has been thrown a lot around the forums already.
How about you let players change the style of any item ingame?
We have so many awesome Motifs and many more coming! We could make our favorite characters into proper fashion queens but yet we are stuck with that awful Costume that covers our ugly looking Necropotence...

Why not use Transmutation Stones as a mechanic for it? For example 35 stones to change the style of one item...
Every korean MMORPG has this mechanic so why is ESO so obsolete when it comes to character customization?

I really dont understand why its not already there, i mean we already have the system via the imperial edition, being able to transmog all crafted gear into imperial.

Yeah, I'm expecting it to be in the Q1 update next year or the next Chapter at the latest.

The re-trait was part of the work they have been doing on restyling and obviously was ready to be delivered with clockwork city.

We shall all look super awesome!

I believe it was Gina. Though it was "confirmed" in an article with Matt For, Gina has since reconfirmed it. Maybe it was Jessica... Either way you can dig back in their posts and watch for a thread about weapon dying. That's the thread they mentioned in it (sorry guys weapon dying isn't happening, but we're working on transmog!)

Itll nice to be able to have my toon not look like a merchant from Sentinel. I am forced to wear costumes with her because she just looks ridiculous as a bosmer in ancient persia looking guard uniforms xD. The rest I just use crafted gear, but with her I spent a LONG time getting the perfect gear.

I wouldn't hold on to them waiting for something special to happen. If you have stuff to transmute just use them. A day in cyrodiil can fill you back up with crystals again no problem.

To lame... probably another way to do it later. Also it might be a crown item as this is comestic...but then again sell more of motif books...so balance somewhere.... But umm...I need more time....can you imagine the prices of motifs afterward?

Because writing the code for the system isnt that simple. With what they will implement, EVERY item can be changed into EVERY current and future motif.

Hmm, I'd hope that style change wouldn't be stuck behind transmutation stones. Aren't they only from pvp or dungeons? That makes sense for people who'd want to be tweaking their traits to be perfect, not so much for people just looking to make their gear pretty.
