Returning Player... where to start...

Hey Guys,

I am a returning player. I haven't played in a while.. I'm looking for suggestions on where I should start.. I have a few characters that are 50, but it seems like I hadn't finished the Cadwell's Gold quest.. that's how long its been.

Where should I start? What should I focus on first? Should I finish the Cadwells gold main quest, or go right into morrowind?
I logged in a got so overwhelmed with all the quests I haven't done and that are popping up all around. I don't know what I should do or not do.

I don't think there is a right or wrong answer to this.
Just do what you feel most comfortable with.
If you feel like jumping into Morrowind, do that. In fact, since you start fresh and it's kind of a stand alone quest chain, that might be a good place to get back into the sweet spot for questing, then go back to the other stuff. Or, pick up where you left off with Cadwell. There's always running dungeons for good gear sets, or farming for some gold if you just want to kill stuff to get your rotation back in practice while earning something useful.
Totally up to you.
Take a breath, make a plan, and see where the road takes you.

Roll a new character and start over until things start to come back...

I started a warden, and I actually just found the quest that starts the original quest line I'm assuming.. cuz I woke up ion the Wailing prison rescued by lyris. This is good for me right now.. I can get my bearings before starting back into my other characters.

Yes, after you complete the Wailing Prison with Lyris and the Prophet, that quest will dump you on your starter island for your faction, where you can start the faction questlines (or go anywhere you please).

Buy a home, have endless money pit, = sucked right back in lol. Continue with your new character just to relearn the basics and youll get back in the groove.
